Its not a goreng share .....slow,slow make money. why shld we convert to warrant ? can make more money ? Im quite naive on warrant conversion but i bought on 48 cts only less than 3 mths ago. Sell also make good money already

Both of you r right, i must keep it or convert it to mother share after ex-date or continuously hold it as hapseng is a good company. Wait and see before and after ex-date. In fact I also have mother share. Anyhow, thanks for your advise.

hepitrade, simple mathematic : warrant convert to mother is 1.65, now the price of warrant 1.20, then u added up = 1.65+1.20= 2.85 , it still below mother share price.

yup, son is 1.18 now, u bought it and add 1.65 convert to mother which cost u total 2.83 for mother. but current mother price is 2.88, whcih mean u easily get profit 0.05 per unit.

What is the point of converting the warrant to mother when there is less than 5 sen profit. The buy and sell later is more than 5 sen profit.

Just buy either warrant or mother for short term profit or keep for long term since the dividend payout is more attractive than FD and you made profit from dividend and capital appreciation. Not from converting warrant to mother unless there is huge premium between the warrant+conversion rate and mother. In Hap Seng case, the difference between mother and warrant doesn't warrant it unlike other stocks.

So forget about buying into warrant and converting to mother.

The mother currently trading around 10.5x and the fair value at 12x is around 3.20. Then the warrant will be around 1.55.

I am looking into this range b4 decided to sell both depending on the next quarter announcement and also some surprise of special dividend or bonus share since profits is on the high side this few years.
