APA ITU ESOS? Pernah dengar tak ESOS? ESOS ni stands for Employee Shares Option Schemes atau dalam bahasa melayu dikenali sebagai Skim Opsyen Saham Pekerja. ESOS ni basically adalah sejenis imbuhan ataupun skim yang diperkenalkan oleh majikan sesebuah syarikat dengan mengeluarkan opsyen saham kepada pekerja yang layak melalui hak kontraktual untuk memiliki saham di dalam syarikat dengan menawarkan dengan harga yang istimewa. ESOS memberikan pekerja hak untuk membeli stok syarikat dalam tempoh masa yang terhd dan syarat-syarat didapati melalui Perjanjian Stok Opsyen Saham Pekerja aka Employee Shares Option Agreement.
KENAPA BAGI ESOS? Selalunya, majikan bagi ESOS ini kepada pekerja-pekerja sebagai motivasi kepada pekerja yang mempunyai rekod prestasi yang cemerlang atau telah lama bekerja di syarikat tersebut. 4. Sebelum “Exercisable Period” luput, korang boleh memilih untuk melaksanakan opsyen saham korang dan dibenarkan membeli saham dalam syarikat tersebut pada harga yang dipersetujui. Jika opsyen saham tidak dilaksanakan dalam tempoh exercisable period ni, opsyen saham itu akan luput dan korang tak boleh lagi nak beli saham syarikat tersebut. Jadi, melepas sudah untuk rasa menjadi salah seorang pemilik-pemilik syarikat. WOW!
APA UNDANG-UNDANG YANG PERLU DIIKUTI? Salah satu syarat yang paling penting adalah di mana syarikat korang kenalah beri korang unissued shares and syarikat haruslah menyimpan rekod pendaftaran opsyen saham korang. Setelah syarikat korang mendaftarkan opsyen saham tersebut, syarikat perlulah mengemaskini opsyen yang diberikan mengikut Seksyen 68A Akta Syarikat 2016 dalam masa 14 hari dan kegagalan untuk mematuhi syarat tersebut adalah suatu kesalahan di bawah Akta Syarikat 2016.
That’s why, kalau syarikat-syarikat korang ada tawarkan ESOS, korang ni bertuah gila sebab dapat merasa untuk beli saham syarikat yang korang membanting tulang dari pukul 9 pagi sampailah 6 petang tak campur OT. Kalau dapat email untuk beli ESOS, beli tau jangan tak beli. Dah lah tak merugikan, malah beri keuntungan berlipat kali ganda.

Ada juga akaun CDS yang Islamik tidak akan membenarkan kita untuk membeli saham-saham yang tak patuh Syariah. Mereka akan ‘reject order’ dan menghalang kita daripada membeli saham yang tak patuh Syariah.
