because Malaysia government bond yield getting up due to low crude oil, high usd.
security analysis always compare reits yield vs government bond. Naïve.
no one calculate in the reits rental revision. example, 6% yield + 3% div yield growth, the share price should go up 3% every year base on same PE evaluation, or div yield evaluation. you will get 9% CCAR.

igbreit should be announcing their dividend and 4th quarter result soon ~
Fact, REIT DY follow around 2 % above MGS (4%)
Dividend yield of 6% is what mostly reit will be ...

With the previous dividend announcement, IGBREIT DY stands at 6.126%
Hopefully their earning is good this quarter and boost up the dividend

then we can see the IGBREIT price hovering at 1.35

Don't bother looking at profit or revenue as it is distorted by revaluation. Look at DPU which increased by 11% over 2013. Well done.

IGB Reit is in same Retail Mall sector as CMMT and Sunreit. These 2 have climbed a lot recently. IGB will catch up if the other 2 maintain their current prices

the technical chart indicates a downtrend. counter might move further south. 1st support level at 1.29. if it breaks this support level, the counter might test the resistance level of 1.23.

reits are much much not related to gov bond yield. only poor financial institute analyzer use it to fried up and down.
1. how to related gov bond with asset injection?
2. how to related gov bond with rental revision?
3. how to related gov bond with management expenses?
4. how to related gov bond with future prospect?
5. how to related over supply of office building with gov bond?

Manda, minimum is 100units. You can Invest via banks or security companies(broker). Easy to open account with them. Cannot buy direct from listed companies, eg IGB.
