According to i3lurker.
CapitalA will inject CapitalA' aviation with 10 billion debts to AAX for 10 billion AAX share. (CapitalA book is now debts free and no more PN17)

AAX will then record a goodwill of 20 billion as non current assets (10 billion debts + 10 billion capitalA aviation valuation)
AAX book now with 20 billion goodwill as non current asset is out of PN17 also.

This is how a bollywood dance style in cleaning the Balance Sheet.

I agree with sslee, that is letting AAX out from Pn17 first... now that it is out , AAX will help cap A to get out of PN17 .... bursa will fully support we already have many banrkrupt ridden companies and airasia is definitely not one of it

AAX debts a child's play....tiny amount and easily settled.

What about the white knight, Stanley from HK?

Putting AAX back into CapitalA would assist in some form or way to reduce their Debts too. But the working mechanism may take a long time given the amount outstanding.

The problems is with CapitalA.
Can CapitalA fulfill the obligation of payables/sales in advance/lease and maintenance payment/borrowing and etc that due in 12 months time. Net current liabilities of RM (9,067,503,000)?

AAX already done the painful debts restructure, capital reduction and 10 to 1 share consolidation.

For reasons only knew to Stony CapitalA did not do the necessary debts restructure, capital reduction or share consolidation.

Stony current plan according to CapitalA briefing gave to IBs analyst:

The key takeaways from the analysts briefing yesterday are as follows:

1. The group plans to announce the details of its PN17 regularisation plan by mid-April 2023 with completion expected by end-3Q 2023. We gathered that the group plans to divest its aviation group to AirAsia X in exchange of shares for subsequent distribution to its shareholders

Part of AAX debts restructure:
AAX also proposed that if it were to garner more than 300 million ringgit in annual earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, lease rentals and restructuring costs during its 2023-2026 financial years, all creditors except Airbus would be entitled to 20% of those earnings.

Revenue is not above 300 million per annum for AAX? And this is part repayment for AAX and nothing to do with CapitalA.

The pledge to assist and help repay CapitalA may be in many forms too.....hahaha....advertisement...wink wink..

Travel demand is back not just from China, but Australia too.

AirAsia X resumes first-ever KL route to Gold Coast, Australia after two-year hiatus, news from MalayMail as below.

My target of RM3.36 using 3x PE is intact assuming AAX can maintain their core EPS at least 28 sen registered in 4Q2022.

EPS at least 28 sen registered in 4Q2022 is not sustainable for the simple reason that AAX need capital injection and etc by issuing AAX share.

The NOSH of 415 million will end up as many billion in NOSH

Why is there a need for a capital injection when they already have RM182 million in cash and only RM50 million in immediate liabilities to be paid within a year? Moreover, the company can also generate its own cash flow, so there is no need to issue more shares to obtain additional funds from shareholders.

AirAsia X (AAX) continues to expand its China network with two weekly flights to Beijing restarting last week after almost a three-year pause.

...

Flights will ramp up from twice weekly on Thursday and Saturday to four weekly flights starting 1 June 2023 to meet growing forecast demand, further boosting travel and tourism in the region.

“More expansion in China is on the horizon for AAX as we plan to relaunch more routes and introduce more unique, less travelled destinations in China in the near future,” he concluded.

Keep this AAX as the trend of China reopening is real, I did not see any lockdown news only see more flights going to/from China !

yer, provided that they can maintain EPS of 28 cents or more every quarter consistently , there is no reason why they can not reach RM 3.36 or more on the basis of PE of 3.
