Aemulus is a good company but external situation are not good. Please stay sideline and you will get a good price. ( Bad News - North Korea, Malaysia elections and outcome of the elections, US internal policy. Good News budget announcement ). Please share any other positive and negative information for us to make wise decision.
selling get lesser, 9th day of pressing down to collect cheap.. wipe all the gain in July and Aug.. :( tmr 10th day will technical rebound for a rest for merdeka!
SHQuah A few year ago when I bought MMSV at 50 sen, People say I am crazy and they say MMSV not more than 30 sen. Now MMSV RM1.90. MMSV currently NTA now is only 32 sen. My Average of Aemulus around 50 sen, people saying only 24 sen. Just wait for another few year you will know how much is the price.
o.k I will try waiting together with u but pls sumbat the lobang - everyday laosai is disheartening LOL
Aemulus has good mix of testers from Discrete to RF. Now it depends on the marketing team to sell their equipment to the global market. If the testers are well accepted , the market is huge.
Aemulus has a efficient n dynamic young management teams. Hope they have strong teamwork n not office politics, then its products will be well received n has competitive advantage over its rivals. People who just want to have mediocre profit, hope its share price will rocket up very fast. But for true investors, we hope to buy at a bargains. We will see how Mr. Market value it in 2/3 years time. Anyway its products n business models are growing steadily, that's the future trends n sentiments, AI n IOT Industries. Thanks!
My friend working there told me that they are focus on selling system instead of just one card per one card. So profit will be huge. That's why these two quarters profit. (one system over million)
We still don't really understand how it really works? But we hope to learn more n more, becz our future will be automated, in every aspect of our lifestyles. So these Industries are so huge, unimaginable...!!! It is just a beginning in the emerging markets, even in matured markets, not much has been going on. So much trials n errors...??? U need fearless foresight to WIN a few pots of Gold. Maybe a 10 baggers...!!!
tester is the device to test electronic chips, whithout it you don't have handphone and all the electronic stuffs. So unless this world no handphone and all electronic stuffs we sure need tester to help us to test it. With system, all cards will be sell all in one, better than sell one by one.
Nobody can analyse a business model 100%, maybe only 70/80% is okay...!!!! Nobody even specialist Can't! Investing is all about the future earnings prospects that matters most n Not its historical Earnings. Only few Industries have strong historical Earnings growth history n at present technology, AI, n IOT, business environment changes rapidly. Nobody can guarantee, present business model can last forever, or even 10 years from Now! Thanks n Good Luck...!!!
Merdeka...!!! Conservative forward earnings/profits growth prospects should be double digits by the first quarter 2018 or maybe by the 4th quarter. So the price...??? Well below 0.60 should be Undervalued. Below 0.45 is a bargain n below 0.75 is reasonable. Final decision is yours. Thanks!!!
Posted by iambigshark > Aug 29, 2017 10:25 AM | Report Abuse I wouldnt do that to exchange MMSV for Aemulus, eps per share for MMSV 1/2 yr is 8.13 against 9 mth 1.24 for Aemulus. I surely will keep MMSV
this shark not only big but smart as well LOL definitely won't kena caught n become sharkfin soup LOL
Trends analysis showed continued outflow of funds from the stock, so can expect price to sustain around 0.60 cents. Bankers ratio still hovering slightly below 50%, so there is still possibility of another rally once there is a rebound. For now, any weakness is a good entry point to accumulate. Happy Investing!
JOINING the US tech stock rally, Bursa Malaysia-listed semiconductor and semiconductor-related companies have risen between 22% and 250% this year. Year to date, the Bursa Malaysia Technology Index has soared 70% to 37.59 points, its highest level since 2005.
Local technology companies and investors are bullish about the sector’s prospects, mainly due to its long-term earnings sustainability, underpinned by the diversification of products and customer base.
Indeed, 2017 is promising to be another good year for the semiconductor supply chain with device, material and equipment suppliers expecting revenue and earnings growth for the year. According to information technology research and advisory firm Gartner Inc, worldwide semiconductor revenue is forecast to total US$386 billion this year, an increase of 12.3% from last year.
Favourable market conditions that gained momentum in the second half of 2016, particularly for commodity memory, have accelerated and raised the outlook for the market in 2017 and 2018.
Unit production estimates for premium smartphones, graphic cards, video game consoles and automotive applications have improved and contributed to the stronger outlook this year. Gartner also projected global semiconductor capital spending to increase 10.2% to US$77.7 billion this year.
“This growth rate is up from the previous quarter’s forecast of 1.4% due to continued aggressive investment in memory and leading-edge logic, which is driving spending in wafer-level equipment,” it said in an Aug 2 press release on its 2Q2017 update.
It added that the concentration this year is due to strong manufacturing demand in memory and leading-edge logic.
On a separate note, global microelectronics industry association SEMI projects that the semiconductor material market will expand 2% this year in light of growth expectations for the device market.
Market forecasts for the semiconductor market this year are also optimistic, with growth projections ranging from 3% to 11%. Given current capital expenditure announcements and the strong equipment order activity throughout 2H2016, prospects for the semiconductor equipment subsector look bright as well.
Where are Malaysian players on the value chain?
Basically, local semiconductor firms are involved in the mid-to-lower end of the value chain, serving foreign semiconductor manufacturers, brand owners, integrated circuit (IC) developers and fabricators. They can be divided into three groups (see Table 1). The first group comprises outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) companies such as Unisem (M) Bhd, Globetronics Technology Bhd, Inari Amertron Bhd and Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd (MPI), which provide outsourced services, including assembly, packaging, fabrication and testing.
The second group consists of automated test equipment (ATE) manufacturers like ViTrox Corp Bhd, Elsoft Research Bhd, Aemulus Holdings Bhd, MMS Ventures Bhd (MMSV), VisDynamics Holdings Bhd and Pentamaster Corp Bhd, which serve the OSAT companies and other multinational semiconductor manufacturers.
The third group comprises the likes of JF Technology Bhd and FoundPac Group Bhd, which design and manufacture high-performance test sockets and other materials for OSAT companies and semiconductor firms.
And then, there are the likes of V.S. Industry Bhd and SKP Resources Bhd, whose businesses are similar to that of Taiwanese contract manufacturing giant Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, better known as Foxconn Technology Group.

It is worth noting that most of the local semiconductor-related companies, including Globetronics, Inari Amertron, ViTrox, Elsoft, MMSV, Aemulus, Pentamaster and FoundPac, are headquartered in Penang — the Silicon Valley of Malaysia.
