Lctitan has 5billion net cash based on the latest qtr results. if u just take cash divided by number of shares outstanding the net cash per share is worth RM2.17. compared to the current price RM2.3. that means their biz including those ppe and inventory is worth just RM0.13 per share? that's ridiculous.

Ya this stock cannot compare with gloves stock but the pattern is almost the same after ex dividend hefty drop the barrier of entry to glove making is very low every tom dick and harry with RM200 mil can start production lines but not petrochemical biz. you need billions to build one my advise is just hold on to your shares and wait for the next dividend in a few months time maybe another 25 sen !

Buy for dividend lah woi another 25 sen at least just wait for another 2 months only at this price the yield is more than 10% taking into account the 18 sen declared earlier. You can wait for 3 yrs for the price to recover also no problem lah !

Before the ann on building 18 billion petrochem complex in Indonesia,I was still willing to take a bet on this counter as it has net cash of $3 billion i.e cash excluding debtors minus all short/long term liabilities even though the recent drop in profit.However I am not willing to take that risk as they are going to build that complex in 2022 which means it will turn net gearing of abt 15 billion.Once your debts rise to that level,it's very very vulnerable to any crisis as there is large swings in commodities prices and the huge debts in America in which the world is very vulnerable to another major currency crisis .That's my opinion only.Fundamentals can change overnight.
