Disclaimer: This blog is to share the interesting observations I made in i3investor. Nothing in this article should be considered as investment advice nor is intended to be investment advice.
As you know, share market is very vibrant. Each investor has their own set of rules to invest. Some solely use FA or TA, others use the hybrid of FA/TA, and the remaining handful use business sense. The indicator of success for each method is their ability to consistently make big money year after year.
As you can see the chart below, Choo Bee’s share price has risen sharply to Rm 2.30 on 19th September, 2016. One of my close friend admitted that he was the one who bought Choo Bee at the highest Rm 2.30 on that day. He cut loss by selling all Choo Bee shares immediately after he has read KYY’s article published the next day. He acted decisively or he would have lost his pants by now. I guess we all can learn this important lesson.
It is very interesing to see the volatility of Choo Bee's share price over the past months. Different group of investors reacted to KYY's posting quite differently. The formation of the above chart could be explained as follows:
Group 1: The smartest would understand Choo Bee’s business and won't buy in the first place.
Group 2: The smart would immediately sell after being alerted by the strong reasons presented.
Group 3: The sceptics doubted writers' intention and decided to hold.
Group 4: The TA masters would buy more at schocastic oversold area which took place on 13th October, 2016.
Group 5: The FA masters would find information that agrees with their existing view. They chose to ignore anything that contradicts those views.
Group 6: The not-so-smart would take months to digest the information circulated in the i3.
