Mr Ooi,
Right now, electric car sales is not even 5% of global sales. Lithium cost etc is too high.
You know how many car manufacturers we have in malaysia and the volume they make?
You know how long it takes to launch a new car factory, esp one completely different since its electric, and to get it up to volume? Easily 3 years minimum.
And do you think when it gets up to volume, the car manufactured will even be 5% of the current manufactured in malaysia? Especially given malaysia low fuel cost and lack of charging stations?
Are you sure economy will be the same, and china wont restart some factories by then, or mahathir take away tariff?? You think can just fuck china on the mega projects with no repercussions or give and take?
How sure are you?
At this price, maybe lionind can buy, but i really dont know how steel price going to go. I dont want to rely on tariff make money.

Im afraid mr koon is wrong.
Believe me, he is not wrong.
He knows more than many people.
Who told me electric car projects will be started in Tanjong Malim Perak ?
Who ask me to study which company can produce stainless steel sheet in volume ?
He insists Lionind has very good future after takeover Megasteel which I disagree initially.
Now I agreed with him that takeover of Megasteel is a good move as recommended by probability in I3.
US 100 billion foreign investment in electric car will help to make Megasteel deal look good later on.
HBI is for export market, it does not depend on infrastructure projects in Malaysia.
Which company produced HBI in Malaysia ?
Thank you.
Ooi

I also dont really know why, i studied coastal alot. I dont think samarang were expecting the inventory writedown, which is likely due to the ships not being delivered for one reason or another.
If the ship could be converted to cash, its a decent deal, but now, clearly not the case.

Revenue per seat is down, cost per seat is up, so im guessing their margins is decent to begin with, and they upped the volume by a ton.

This is not bad.
Depreciation went down due to the leasing of aircraft, but the lease expense went up by same amount, so we know they are not hiding anything.
Hmm I wonder if its because they hedged the fuel cost at low price or?

I'm ok, might drop a bit due to the planned maintenance.
I dont mind topping up, if i got cash.

Well, i guess they were undercharging their interest expense.
still seem low though, at 2.4% per annum or so, if we take their interest expense, over all borrowings.

CharlesT Jon Choivo Annjoo, owes 800mil to the bank. The current earning they have is due to tariffs and China cutting down capacity.
Given their record earnings, they will still need at least 4 years to payback the debt.
Seeing the above i have to get worried if u managed my fund

Chickens and eggs business. Earnings can be very volatile.
Buy only with a large margin of safety.
Gruesome to good business at best.
Not enticing for the long term.

At this price, very hard to get a holland result. Drop in profit from prop dev is expected. But this is a profitable business selling at less than liquidation value.
No need think so much.

I don't see a reason to buy it today. I'd rather own petronm than media. Or maybe many of the property counters today that are still very profitable, with great capital structures, but selling at liquidation value.

It's a punt, until I confirm my current thesis on consumer habits when it comes to processed food and the taste of the Japanese line of processed food.
Its only a 2% position now. If I like the taste and have confidence in my research on the consumer habits, I don't mind making 3 or 4%.
But that is it, unless I can see the consumer brand grow strength from strength.
All this feed question, usd question, debt question is mostly a waste of time imho.
The question is if you can get the economic value of their line with the Japanese company right. If I get it right and it can get above average profitability, the 3 to 5 year price of the stock and warrant (3 year), will be very interesting.

Whipping up sentiment takes a long time.
Airasia sentiment took how long to whip up? You think just pure fundamentals? Hengyuan sentiment took how long to whip up? You telling me you still holding and waiting for PE10?
Trading that pop, is up to you. Maybe you're an angel and never traded that pop, but most people are not angels. And i doubt you didnt, because i sure would if i did.

Icon8888 Don't be a two headed snake. You accused me of pump and dump "Icon8888, he buy already mah. After article, up few %, can trade that pop, easily few k d. If he can whip up the sentiment, easily few hundred k. "

No, you get nothing guaranteed, beyond a pretty decent understanding of personal finance companies.
Alternatively, that person can go read up on the history of credit cards and personal finance since 1960, a couple books on psychology, and learn how to value financial institutions.
I think that is more worth it than to pay me RM5k. But if you big boss with big position in the company im talking about and lazy read, pay me, i'll tell you and give you a very well balanced and thought out answer
