Im very sure there are many forumers here that can read the latest unaudited SD-QR report. Even basic accounting knowledge will find many red flags.

But many just look at profit 113M.. but failed to see the many questions littered throughout.

I will highlight a few from the many I found.

1) Take last 5 years Annual report.. calculate the Gross Profit and Net Profit Margin. They are same, unchanged over 5 years. Incredible isnt it when the company if funded by borrowings with increased finance costs, add fluctuating market conditions, it is not possible.

2) The next standout red flag is SD's OCF and FCF. The company's Net Profit Growth is super stable, but its OCF is wild.. like a yoyo. FCF never grow. What happened to all the cash if collected?

3) With PP calls, Net Profit margin of 11% over 5 years, the company is still in negative Free Cash Flow position. Very abnormal. In essence, company revenue is inflated and this is easiest maneuver in books.. inflating receivables. As long as they keep balloning up the Revenue, they can keep hiding the receivables.

4) Their Inventory, PPE and Receivables is almost RM5.6Billion in latest report. This is way high compared to their revenue of RM6.0 Billion.

I dont want to guess the audit queries by KPMG but im certain its much much more than the 5 shown during SD press conference..

Why Im so sure EY will confirm KPMG findings.. simply because the issues raised are tied to the above and qualitative in nature.

To make it easier to understand..

SD is a train with no brakes travelling downhill. In order to not crash, it will have to keep doing the same thing till it became impossible to cover anymore.

Im approaching this from a financial accounting point and i see a train wreck.

There is NO guessing game.. Its clear as daylight.

EY will confirm KPMG findings.

Just dont be in the room when shit hits the fan..

SD is a day trader heaven... hell for long term investors. Choose where you want to be.

sd next auditor will go thru what kpmg went in 1mdb saga, both are appointed after the 1st auditor were removed.
so before u laugh at kpmg over 1mdb, u should instead laugh at next auditor for sd.

When u invest and use Genetec as example.. bad way of looking at the PE ratio.. Tech company has very high PE ratio because of forward expected earnings.. look at Tesla as example.

Anyway… I will stop explaining to you and hope you have the best return from your investment in SD and Kpower.

Just 1 word of advise.. we are not in movie industry. We are in the investing fraternity where figures and charts are the guideline for us.

If we think in these "theories", the chances of failure is higher than average.

BetterTomorrow Malaysia will die, every plc if have audit issue then will put up big cable ex sc, ex bursa, ex police, ex AG and ex IGB as director, so who will want to invest in malaysia? Depend on local institutions which also its fund come from us as retailer, like EPF and PNB.

This is very wrong signal to Malaysia corporate world. Ppl like us no cable better dont touch these stock.
We are encouraged this method to every single other plc do the same way.

No worries... we have competent check and balance system working especially in Bursa.

The myth that "cable" exist.. maybe it does but only cover for contracts etc.. when it comes to regulatory issues, no way it will work.

If it happens especially for a big profile case like SD, how will it affect foreign investments in Bursa? Our boys at Bursa does roadshows, seminars, briefing and presentations to foreign funds, Im very sure they will not sacrifice 1 tree ( SD) for the whole forest (almost 1000 listed companies).

Interesting to hear "cable" connection solves all problem in Malaysia..

But why with SD "cable",

1) Market Cap drop from 6Billion to less than 2Billion now?
2) Karim got margin call despite cable connection.
3) 5 Ineds resign
4) Cannot have audited accounts for 18 months.

So, with SD "cable", they can make black into white?

1) Then why KPMG refuse to sign off their accounts? Until now, no auditor for SD.

The above shows even if SD really have "cable", its pretty small and weak.

illshorties @Potato88.. dont worry guys.. even thought there a lot of mistake, serba is good company, im also have purchase 90000 units @ 0.50 with paper loss around 5k still not scare... u need to have holding power.. my expectation before this raya, the price will fluctuated around 0.60.. this is normally happen when IB start buying just 1 month before any company declare their Q report. and will be around 0.70 if they declare their new Ex auditor.. eventually by October, when they redo back the annual audit, the price will be back to normal.. last date for them to republish their 2020 audited annual report is by October 31st... dont be scare and all the best..

cksam I think this time either Mabel Steady Punpipi are getting into big trouble. Those fellas that talk the most and boast the most will get a massive bashing by the market this round. Sometimes you have to be humble and don't try to act god like. The market will find it's way to punish you. If you fellas don't liquidate and cut loss soon will have to sell panties.

No joke. The next support is 1450 which is about 60 points from here. Bursa is extremely bearish now. You guys just pray Dow Jones don't drop a few hundred points tonight, if not there will be another bloodbath tomorrow.
