I don't think the pfizer or Moderna vaccine has been widely tested enough to understand the full scale of impact to various medical conditions. They are using current paid participants to collect more data. Catch-22 situation is that they need to market it as such that ppl don't feel they are guinea pigs or lab mouse but its a proper and safe vaccine. Ok , what I m also suggesting is that could there be some other corporate deals that may potentially happen thru the Holdings S/B as the vehicle? I mean Supermax is now signing many direct supply contracts with various Gov't, especially with US Gov't and going for SGX dual listing soon. It has an attractive growth potential with its OBM module, but has a relatively low market cap compared to its peers. If Stanley gets a very attractive offer, would he not let go?

Coincidentally on Dec 3, Supermax said in filings with Bursa that Thai and his wife Datin Seri Cheryl Tan Bee Geok on that day transferred a collective 982.69 million Supermax shares to Supermax Holdings Sdn Bhd, a company controlled by Thai and Tan.

Supermax said the 982.69 million shares represent a 38.26% stake in Supermax.

Thanks Bro. I took a big risk and I can't recommend to anyone else. Its just a gut feeling. The price may unexpectedly shoot up who knows, and I ended up the stupid fool. And if anyone were to follow me will get burned too. But bcos my average cost was RM 7.50 so I can take the risk without fear by locking in the profit. Not an easy decision, but calculated risk. But big pleasant surprise was the JP Morgan call. Anyway, we may trade along the way, but have to do it wisely. Next time I may be not so lucky....haha

You may not realise but at current price this factor is oredi discounted. That's why the price is so down. May still go down further down a bit more if news come out their workers are infected , but once Supermax can show their workers are not infected , then the price will jump back up.

Just focus on the fundamentals, easily EPS = RM 2.0 for FY21, coinciding with SGX dual listing. In between, look for opportunity to trade wisely. Look for gaps in between to make some money.

I had to make a decision whether to buy back, but I realised with such fundamental I would not go any where else but Supermax. We don't know if tmr will come back, but I have an 18% buffer now to average down further, if necessary. But I believe, by 21 Dec with KLCI inclusion , the price will definitely improve further

Ibelieve bro, I sold and buy back via normal trading. No facility involved. I took a chance to sell all my shares because I realised there is a 2 weeks gap ( without any catalyst) after the share exdate date and TG QR announcement , but on the other hand the Big Friday was looming with the Pfizer approval to be announced. I took a chance to sell as I realised the vaccine theme may be played up. After I sold , I do not want to stay around and become another naysayer, so I opted to stay out from this forum as I cannot be promoting Supermax too.... haha.... Sometimes the naysayers ma hay have a point if we listen carefully. Also the unexpected article by JP Morgan helped too.

Actually at this price I cannot see how anyone can lose out investing in Supermax.
Estimate EPS for FY21 = 0.3+0.6+0.6+0.5 = RM 2.0 @RM 6.8 = PE 3.4
At PE <4 I don't think this price can stay at this level for too long.

We saw this coming much earlier. Vaccine roll out ,additional gloves demand. When vaccines failed, even greater demand bcos then there will be new improved versions which require re-inoculation. Vaccines with lower efficacy or short span protection also require re-inoculation. Likely that old lady shot was done for the TV show and was carried out by the matron. Matrons don't need to to this work la. Meaning its just a single person demo jab for TV show purpose. After that shot she applied one round of sanitizer on both hands. If its a mass vaccination, then the inoculator if not wearing gloves would have to constantly apply sanitizer after every shots. That's gonna affect the person's health if he does that 100 times in a day for many many days. That's why gloves are the best options, but the availability is the main problem. For those who can get them, it should be the standard SOP with gloves. The naysayers dogs are just jumping with joy when they saw no gloves was used.
