@ latuk
Why not hold on for next few weeks?
It should go above RM1 again, given the crude oil is still strong.
You didn't make mistake, just need for patience.

What price you bought that you need to cut loss?

Unfortunately, the sale of Sapura upstream proceeds will go to reduce the debts. Thus, it will not have significant value added to the stock price. Unlike if the sale proceeds goes into the company's retained earnings for future expansion probably would increase net asset value, which would value the company upwards.
The rights issue proceeds also goes to pare down its debts.
No value add to the company other than some interest savings.
Even the net asset value becomes HALF after the rights issue.

What do you mean "no real profit"?
Even exclude the goodwill. The company still has net profit.
Did you miscalculated?

I'm not sure why you mentioned underperform for both stock and management.
You may make comparison in terms of revenue, profit & stock price since 2016 when the company's oil producing assets starting to bear fruits.
So they are underperforming?

Stock price is one thing but the company seems to be able to generate good profit and above average profit growth quarter on quarter.

In my opinion,it needs to factor in the insider trading issue as well. The company also has the lowest efficiency and innovation among gloves manufacturers.
PE=18 (10% off PE=20 allocated)
Based on latest rolling 4Q EPS=0.16, RM2.88 is fair value.

Expecting it to go RM1.80 like J@k$?

5G technology still long way to go.
Don't think it will be out in major developed cities even by 2020.
Too expensive to deploy(READ before comment).
Most Telco in Japan, US and UK are experimenting only.
For now, limited 5G equipment are manufactured.

Why would you even consider to look at 2nd class company.
You have Inari, MI, Penta to choose and you pick Unisem which made THREE consecutive quarters of negative growth.
Apa la!!

Why you guys trade like that?
Day traders?
If you had just bought it in 2016 and keep it till today, you would be sitting on a gain of 700% in just 2 years, without doing anything.

Those who still remember those companies in the 90's where in those days ,you still have T+7.
Many did rights issue similar to this counter, but some failed and declared bankruptcy due to mismanagement, scandals and manipulation of share price.
Sapura Energy seems to heading that way. The only difference now is KWAP, PNB, etc are coming to save it.
Whether the company would turnaround, it really depends on crude price over the next 2-3 years and the CEO steering the company. Major shareholders may pump in capital but if the person who steer the company does not have the wisdom, it goes down the drain at the end of the day.
Look at PETRONAS for example, even when crude oil is at USD30, the company still manage well with of course dent to their profitability but the company came through since. But PETRONAS did cost cutting measures like the VSS in 2016.
What did Sapura Energy did? I think none at all.
I believe the CEO still getting his RM80 mil salary package despite the headwinds.
I'm very surpise after all this , many i3 members still wants to support this company.
Even EPF voted out by selling down.
At the end of the day, do you still want to support this unethical CEO and the way he mismanage the company by digging a bigger hole.

I think trade war has little impact on glove counters.
Both China and US don't produce glove in huge quantity as commodity.
As the trade war starts, both countries' medical industry still need gloves.

Agree, I never like IB analyst. Not any from any IBs.
I used to call them SPINELESS people.
Can't even give a buy or sell call that hold for more than 6 months.
When there's changes in the marketplace, they rerate, upgrade, downgrade, etc.
No confident in their own analysis to give a firm CALL and not changing for long term like 1 or 2 years.
Most of their analysis is also not accurate.

I'm not sifu.
But I've been there before.
No one can predict the future unless he is God
But you can consider to HOLD for long term if you feel this company has a good future after the RI.
At least you know that the PNB, KWAP are fully supporting the RI.

Profit oil = 5,500×90×78×4×4=617,760,000
Net of 38% PITA = 383,011,200
Net of 30,000,000 admin = 353,011,200

May not get so many scenarios.
If crude oil dips back to USD40 and below, it's the end of the road, more like PN17.
EPF, KWAP, etc will be the laughing matter just as during Dr.Mahathir reign dealing with BNM Forex losses of USD10bil in 1990s.

Post rights issue, failed OMV= 25 cents
Post right issue, successful OMV=60cents to 90cents
Post rights issue, failed OMV, multiple new contracts= 40-60 cents
Post rights issue, failed OMV, no good contracts= PN17
These are the expectations.
Only can be changed by Raja Shahril---> OMV success and new contracts win....PrayKauKau is the key!!!
