Notion Vtec Bhd is Malaysia-based investment holding firm. The company through its subsidiaries is engaged in manufactures and sells precision components, tools, and other related products. In addition, the companies also deal in surface treatment, electrolysis nickel plating, chrome plating, electroplating, and anodizing metal or like substances. It operates in Manufacturing segment comprises of manufacturing of high volume precision components and tools including design, other related activities, and incidental services which also contributes a major part of revenue, and Investing segment comprises of Investment holding and provision of management services. Most of its revenue comes from Malaysia market, while it also has a presence in various other countries.

How to be entitled
To be entitled for any of the above, you need to purchase the shares one trading day before the ex-Date. You will not be entitled for the above if you purchase the shares on or after the ex-Date.

On ex-Date, the price will be adjusted to reflect the theoretical market price of the stock after the entitlement. You can sell the shares on / after ex-Date and still be entitled to the corporate exercise. The key is to purchase the shares before ex-Date.
