while the palm oil price is bullish, the yield will drop tremendously, so which counter will truly benefited still yet to be seen. counter with high new mature tree ought to be in focused.
I normally don't agree with Calvin especially when he call buy for tmakmur. But after gathering info on palm oil grower and also palm oil mill fabricator, they expecting good results from plantation in coming month. I know one vertical sterilizer manufacturer has seen his order double. Hence, i'm buying some plantation stock.
oil palm yields will not be affected immediately by the weather, if you know the science behind it. besides all op counters in bursa are aleready overpriced
Funny la. Al-nino will make their production dropped by significant. How can their profit up if their production drop. Profit margin increase but production dropped significantly. The net impact only a little bit

Yes, KM Loong is also good. I discovered today that NSOP at Rm4.08 is also a Value Buy. NSOP has Cash & Investments worth Rm2.70. So deducting Rm2.70 the Share costs only Rm1.38.
zaqwerty A super powerful el dino will just kill off all the oil palm trees and bankrupt all the plantation companies. Most people are just too short sighted. 28/03/2016 10:13

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia African oil palm Elaeis guineensis MS 3467.jpg African oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) Scientific classification Kingdom: Plantae Family: Arecaceae Subfamily: Arecoideae Tribe: Cocoeae Genus: Elaeis Species: E. guineensis Binomial name Elaeis guineensis Jacq. Synonyms[1] Elaeis dybowskii Hua E. macrophylla A.Chev. (nom. inval.) E. madagascariensis (Jum. & H.Perrier) Becc. E. melanococca Gaertn. E. nigrescens (A.Chev.) Prain (nom. inval.) E. virescens (A.Chev.) Prain Palma oleosa Mill. Elaeis guineensis is a species of palm commonly called African oil palm or macaw-fat.[2] It is the principal source of palm oil. It is native to west and southwest Africa, specifically the area between Angola and the Gambia; the species name guineensis refers to the name for the area, Guinea, and not the modern country which now bears that name. The species is also now naturalised in Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Sumatra, Central America, the West Indies and several islands in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The closely related American oil palm Elaeis oleifera and a more distantly related palm, Attalea maripa, are also used to produce palm oil.
OIL PALMS ORIGINALLY CAME FROM WEST AFRICA
IT IS A HARDY PLANT LIKE THE DESERT CACTUS PLANT.
So El Nino won't kill it. El Nino will kill off its competitors like
Soy Sunflower Maize, Canola & other oil seed plants.
So with more & more scarcity of vege oil due to El Nino & La Nina Expect CPO Prices to Surge Past Rm3,000 per tonne soon.

Most people, including me has lost money, ( I net lose RM 7,000+ ) because listened to Calvin. Especially KBUNAI, ARMADA and ALAM.
Unless you are the extremely lucky person who only bought SUPER, KHEESAN, JTIASA RM 1.10, and avoided all other stocks.
Other people, please confess how much money you make or you lose due to calvintanen

All oil palm counters in bursa are already overpriced?
Young Lady,
To track Palm Oil Prices for the Last 10 years I suggest you get a Copy of STOCK PERFORMANCE GUIDE By DynaQuest at any Popular or MPH Book Store.
I think some Oil Palm counters have fallen to near all time lows

To Pingdan & Tom,
It's like this.
El Nino will cause CPO production to drop by 20% to 30%. Never mind. If price can go up by 60% to 80%.
The price gain will more than cover lower production.
Better still. If stock piles melt away - CPO will sell even faster.

Calvin comments:
VIDS,
You got me there!
I lost in Armada & Alam not Kbunai. You SEE, I am not 100% correct all the time.
But why didn't you follow all my calls closely
If you have bought
Pm Corp at 15 cents on Sept 20, 2013. Today at 28 cents you would still make 86.6%
Jaks at 39 cents on 15 to 17 December 2014 (Go check up in Jaks Tread) Jaks jumped to Rm1,20 (Up 200%)
Super Enterprize, Pohuat both garnered 200%
My EG & Supermax & Ajiya all grossed 100%
So please check VERY VERY CAREFULLY ALL MY POSTS, OK?
JTIASA. SOME VIEWS THAT CPO PRICES MAY GO UP.BUT THE OUTPUTS N YIELDS WILL ALSO DECLINE. HENCE PROFITS MAY NOT RISE.FOR JTIASA ITS CPO OUTPUTS AS REPORTED VIA ITS MONTHLY REPORTS TO BURSA WERE ALREADY DECLINING QUITE SIGNIFICANTLY EVEN BEFORE EL NINO.(correct me if i am wrong but i did studied their monthly announcements). I THINK THEIR HARVESTING WERE HAMPERED BY MANPOWER SHORTAGES RESULTING IN MANY PALM OIL TREES NOT HARVESTED. (disclaimer. my views here are only meant for info sharing. they are NOT calls to buy or sell Jtiasa shares)
Calvin. Rsawit at the lowest 0.6. Has a potential reaching 1.20 next year. Better to buy than kwantas and dutaland. Kwantas and dutaland no hope. Koon Yew Yin targetted on Rsawit once.
