Upon taking office, Xi vowed to crack down on "tigers and flies", that is, high-level officials and local civil servants alike. Most of the officials investigated were removed from office and faced accusations of bribery and abuse of power, although the range of alleged abuses varied widely. The campaign 'netted' over 120 high-ranking officials, including about a dozen high-ranking military officers, several senior executives of state-owned companies, and five national leaders (list).[1][2] More than 100,000 people have been indicted for corruption.[3] The campaign is part of a much wider drive to clean up malfeasance within party ranks and shore up party unity. It has become an emblematic feature of Xi Jinping's political brand.
Executed largely under the direction of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) and its Secretary from 2012 to 2017 Wang Qishan along with corresponding military and judicial organs, the campaign was notable in implicating both incumbent and former national-level leaders, including former Politburo Standing Committee (PSC) member Zhou Yongkang and former Central Military Commission (CMC) vice-chairmen Xu Caihou and Guo Boxiong. Such investigations broke the unspoken rule regarding 'PSC criminal immunity' (Chinese: 刑不上常委) that has been the norm since the end of the Cultural Revolution.[4]
Jiang Jemin era is era of rampart corruption, every thing up for grabs, its full scale capitalism. Washington no problem with that. Human rights watch activists no problem with that ...just like Yeltsin era in Russia.
Problem with Washington only exists when China become too strong, not just producing socks and garments for them.
Correct loh....XI understand how USA destroyed USSR mah!
Thus he will not allow USA come up with their bad scheming Agenda of manipulation mah!

Using english, capitalism stock investment to earn money?english is origin from china ccp?fast to prove communism is better that capitalism..if i am one of u i feel shameful
Let’s face reality with an open minded, “no man is an island” human being do badly when isolated from others and need to be part of a diverse community in order to thrive. If you are so close minded with you preconceived idea that “China communist government is evil, the most brutal and most inhumane form of governance” you are reacting to your own personal perspective view, arrogant/ignorance and not an objective statement based on facts and observations. If you are open minded, you would look at situation from all angles with respect and study your friends and foes history background, philosophy, behavior and belief system in order to understand them and response calmly with objective and unbiased view. That is how we should conduct our foreign policy with tact and diplomacy (being persuasive and assertive at the same time show understanding of other people and being sensitive to their opinions, beliefs, ideas and feelings) for peace to prevail and for mutual good and benefit.
For me you just choose what you wanna to believe..but when talking about earning money tool, you said we need to open?when talking about the dark side of ccp. American and western are wick?like that is open?you need carve out western and communism using commusim way totaly then which one is superior than can be obviously to be sen isnt it?
Talk about leaders this is what Robert Kuok wrote in his memoir:
From Robert Kuok Memoir “In its 5,000-year history, I doubt that China has had as enlightened a group of leaders as during the past 30 years. They wanted their country to grow, and their people to prosper. Few leaders today compare with China’s in terms of true patriotism, selfless devotion to duty, and complete willingness to dedicate their lives to the causes of nation-building and raising the peoples’ standard of living.
In my business travels around China, I often came across incompetent or bigoted officials. Nearly every time I had a major tussle with one, or I met a dubious vice governor or mayor, I would come back and, in my judgmental way, tell my colleagues, “How can that man run such-and-such a city?” And sure enough, the next time I visited the place, say a year later, the man had been removed and a better man was in his place. I began to note to myself and to others that in Southeast Asia, a bad egg gets promoted; in China, a bad egg is removed.
In China there is NO freedom in speech. If you are doing business in China then you can't said bad things about CPC. So naturally he will only said good things
The right to free expression is not unlimited, and does not allow us to: express views which advocate hatred, or are based on prejudices with regard to race, ethnicity, gender or religion.
The right to freedom of expression comes with responsibilities. The Government can lawfully restrict this right if the restriction is necessary to protect the rights of others or to protect public order, public health, public morality or national security.
Look at Malaysia....full of uncensored , serpenza laowhy types too.
How to progress? How to have unity? Happiness? Addressing the most pressing problems?
China media doing a great job in educating, uniting, encourage patriotism, sacrifices, knowledge, science, happiness, ....for a large country.....China is by far the most happy place, people optimistic of their future, ....and also why millions of foreigners love China.
Xinjiang....Xinjiang success far exceeded people's expectations....and precisely because of the success now Xinjiang faces the false accusations......this the western world order and western rule of law.
That's is what I have been saying each country is not perfect. But each country can try to put all the negativity behind them, but unfortunately, most are unlikely to be resolved and the worst is when many countries move backwards. So no point in defending only one country.
