Why a study on Age Profiles are very important in analysing Plantations Stock.
It will determine the yield where Tall Palm Area exceed 20- 25 the yield
will be low whereas it tooks
approximately 3 years for young
palm areas to produce yield n young
palm area produce low crop@ FFB
until above 5 years which after that
periods are called Prime Age which
produce better Yield
Beside yield,fruitlets from Tall Palm
n Young Area are smaller which
range from 8-10 grams.Therefore OER n PK are lowThats where Est
FFB Average Bunch Weight take into
account.
Talk Palm Area 20-25 years are due
for replanting n replanting not only
are costly right from pre nursery to
nursery , felling,land peparations n lots n lots more.
Due to cost of diesel are high, definitely felling cost will be much higher n do remember to 80% of est cost comes from manuring excluding other upkeep n maintenance such as Spraying,P&D Harvesting Access n lots more

To make it short few of the smaller are facing lots of replanting n needs money n the cost are going to be
high..That's why having total palms area or hectatrage,CPO pc does not really will tell u some of the plantation stock are good n
That's what happened when late Datuk Khalid was being cheated in buying PT Salim in Indonesia and it takes quite long times to recover..That is excluded when DSNR was oso being cheated to buy PT Rajawali at highest px which have the hectatrage but will less planted
area too

For info,without u realising,few of the smaller plantation stock will cheat u on their financial problems,debts n how it will be solved.. Don't just looks at the CPO px n simply speculates.
Some extra short points,somes of the Est in Sabah n Sarawak r facing labour shortage n leaving rotten bunch on the palms n few big player having problems with high FFA n selling px are at a discount @ another marketing pblms n excluding forward CPO selling.It mean u r very happy on agreement to sell at RM4,400 then CPO px goes up to RM5,000 & exclude failed to deliver the quantity n being penalised or u search from other suppliers at higher px then what u received only RM 4,400.
U understand CPO Marketing pblms?

When Gold px down that day,BV was supported by insiders.The deal in securities on 4th has been completed on the 7th.The 8th trading was free and Gold has slowly make a U TURN.
Don't get caught wth those ppl trying to cheat u bet it going up or down.Used u brains.😎

May be some of the info can be used by Investor ONLY.

Maybe lots of ppl are not aware of the tabling of Bdget by MOF the MANDATORY EPF CONTRIBUTIONS FOR FOREIGN LABOUR n Minimum Wages of RM1,700.00 where at RM1,500 there were big issues on Yield Per Harvester Vs Working Hours n capabilities to increase productivity to set off with cost.

However if want to speculate by CPO px, then no pblm.Don't be accidentally investors.

@cicak, i would prefer to short term trade it. Trump planning to bring down inflation through reducing interest rates and increase shale oil pumping - to reduce crude oil price. The main purpose is to bring down America food price. Soy bean production definitely will increase. Second Trump plan to end Ukraine war. Ukraine is the main producer of sun flower and rapeseed oil.

What a minimum Wages RM1,700.00 means.
If all the efforts n during low crop seasons or due to weather,they can get RM1,200.00 only,u got to top-up the RM500.00 n now with Employers EPF Contributions.
All those Soybean, Rapeseed,Corn Oil are the issue of weather n even UAE got snow n weather in M'sia has changed a lots Which not only limited the working hour but oso Working days n of it will effect the whole industry especially pure plantations which are normally small.
Even FGV Sahabat in Lahad Datuk are facing problems.
