New Zealand's central bank lifted interest rates for the second time in as many months on Wednesday, driven by rising inflationary pressures and as an easing of restrictions supported economic activity.
The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) raised the official cash rate (OCR) by 25 basis points to 0.75% in the final policy meeting of the year.

InvestorX : i am ok with a price drop, as can top up more in my January purchases.

When it was 8.30, none of use sold, so if 8.00 no will will sell.
AT 7.80 not one of us will sell.

We only buy and glad didnt buy a lot when it was at 8.10 to 8.15... if drop more add more and more.

Just my style.

Those who didnt buy a lot should start to accumulate from now ,

BUT be warned that u have to hold for mid to long term and not suitable for those trying to profit from volatality or for short term.

@supersinginvestor - For banks, I believe, asset-based valuation methods are the best. Now, if we compare the tangible book value of RHB and Maybank, it is RM 5.95 for the former, and RM6.6 for the latter. In that sense, I believe RHB is undervalued compared to Maybank. But then, given Maybank's dominant position in the Malaysian banking landscape, I suppose investors feel Maybank (average PER 12.5) is a safer bet than RHB (average PER 10.5).

....last year on this day the price dropped 39 sen (8.29 previous day to close at 7.90) in much lesser volume....this year it was well supported during this "triple switching"
