funny snakes.. like i said i buy and never sell..... if price drop. i thank you cos can add more if price maintain ( i add a bit).. if price too high ( i just watch and be happy)... so which way also i win.... and it shows in my holding and increase in value since my lasy topup.

9M earning shown in EPS is 52.42, an increase of 19% YOY compared to last year (43.98). Just short of 5 sen if compared to FY2020 of 57.66. 4Q sure can achieve EPS above 5 sen (my estimation is about 15-18 sen), if there is the case, this year's div shouldn't be lower than last year (Last year 52 sen). I guess the final div should be around 28-30 sen. Let's see.

An Israeli immunologist from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Zvika Granot suggested this week that the spread of the newly detected Omicron variant — which has sparked panic and resulted in travel bans worldwide — may actually signal the beginning of the end of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

"In my view maybe this new variant is the light at the end of the tunnel."

"The way that it will end, at least in my view, is when we encounter this new variant that is highly infectious but is not very aggressive. More turbulence could be ahead for stocks as investors weigh omicron and the Fed’s next steps

Stocks are expected to remain volatile in the coming week, as investors focus on developments related to the Covid omicron variant and weigh the Federal Reserve’s next steps for dialing back its bond-buying program.

This past week Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said the central bank could discuss speeding up its bond-buying taper. This could move up the Fed’s timeline for raising interest rates.

The consumer price index is the big economic report in the week ahead. It’s expected to be even hotter than the prior month.

Increase interest is good for the bank sector. It means their NIM will be up. I guess the Fed will increase the interest first and it will follow by other countries including Malaysia. I guess 2H 2022 most probably the interest rate will move up. Bank earning will increase and may offset the 9% extra prosperity tax.

Yes, similar prediction here.

4Q21 EPS will probably be around 15 to 18 sen.

Final dividend will probably be around 28 to 30 sen, 32 sen is still a possibility.

As my sifu tolle correctly said...if you can correctly predict future share price, then Warrent Buffet will pay USD 1M to have lunch with you.

Since no one can predict, one of the best strategy is to buy strong fundamental VALUE stock....one with lower PE, lower PB (price to book) and gives higher dividend.

With the current uncertain market, IF the market were to trade lower and stays there for long time, you still get your roughly 7% dividend while waiting for market to recover.
