Acquisition should be positive for PBB share holders right? At current value, LPI dividend yield is already 5+%. Now with the discount, the yield would be even higher at the range of 8%. Although the contribution might be limited due to the size difference.

At 9.80, it's at a steep discount to the market price. I'm guessing that the siblings want to simplify their asset holdings by holding the insurance business via Public Bank.

If LPI can maintain its performance, then there'll be larger EPS and dividends in store for Public Bank shareholders.
