Macquarie has to pay more to the C28 hoders if the average closing price is high. The conversion price of C28 is 1.05 and the conversion ratio is 2.5 : 1. E.g. average price is 1.90 then 1.90-1.05=.85; 0.85÷2.5=0.34. That means Macquarie has to pay Rm0.34 per unit to the C28 holders. The last done price of C28 was Rm0.29.

Epf buy and sell in all counters daily, epf is more concerned with fgv than drbhikom. Billion of ringgit investment in fgv down the drain unrecoverable. Drbhikom already declared the loses transparently when the share dive down wards from 1.80 to average 1.65 and the following day recover within 1.70 to 1.82.It does not make sense even if epf selling between few hundred thousand to a million or two. After definitnitive agreement signed I doubt it's a sell off as though the company is going to collapse like Tata the bankruptcy maker of precious safety of most cars supplied with defects. Let's move on for the gradual process of drbhikom when the asset of lands and properties worth billion of ringgit. Just keep as fix deposit. My two cents opinion.

Need to remember DRB is not owning solely on PROTON...DRB stands for Diversified Resources Bhd meaning it have POS Bank Muamalat etc...fundamentally proton is now a JV entity with new technology from geely infused into DRB...risk is minimal as both both party rely on each other...apart from it DRB will propel more progression in terms of revenue as proton in not the only core business DRB rely on...DRB is eyeing more into ASEAN market with the e-COMMERCE platform thru POS Malaysia

Geely proxy is buying, let epf earning less to allow foreign syndicate getting richer just as Hong Kong geely rising from few dlrs to more than 15dlrs eversince news of geely buying over proton and lotus sports car from drbhikom. They will only unload when reaching five times appreciate value not at the moment still much room for improvement. Who is buying and judge who is loosing at the end of the race. Be prudent when hearing epf is selling. What about tabong hj and the rest selling together and destroy our national project
