I think drb wont surge at the short term, not until sign vf geely and gov release rm1.1 billion grant...

I think most ppl know july will sign, but the point is when? Early...middle or end of july? Any1 got firm date? Nope...

In kind injection, not 600 million for Boyue, still under nego...so any1 knows its gonna be higher or lower? Whose dare to said must be lower for in kind? No one knows too...as Geely is the final bidder now, n proton ady run out of time, so geely has the final say now.

One thing for sure is Lotus was fully sold by DRB for 100million pound...but sterling pound keep dropping...

Uncertainty is hanging around DRB at the moment my friends, in stock market, ntg is certain.

I kept drb share for almost 3 years...im firm to say, this stock is for bankers n political plays...goreng stock...dun b surprise if sudden drop to 1.5 or surge to 2.0, tis drb can really fluactute in this range.

Chart wise look good, 1.5? too good to be true. Stronghold at 1.7 there. With recent news, it still cheap sales. U must know that Geely have huge market play and it definitely benefit proton. In long term it will be a blast & new milestone for proton. Good luck guys.

Macquarie , the issuer of C28 is happy to see DRB down to 1.73 as C28 will expire on 23/6/17. Not many investors still holding C28. Mostly in Mac's hands

Dun be too firm, look at IWC@ bdr malaysia case...

Ntg is really in concrete stake frens, geely biggest obstacle is to channel out the money from China to pay proton stake, smtg must be not right at the moment, as during the announcement, drb ceo firmly said rm170 mill cash + rm600 mill suv injection for geely to take proton 49.9% stake, but few days b, they changed tune, said merely assumption for tat figure...

Political oso involved, tun m & tony pua keep on critic the deal oso made things worse.

It is a done deal-lah. No need to think, just buy on weakness, after you regret. G2G already talk, approval to transfer funds already pre-approved. Government won't open mouth unless done deal, otherwise no face.

[Latest] Trading in DRB-Hicom shares to be suspended tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR (June 21): DRB-Hicom Bhd said trading in its shares will be suspended tomorrow, at its request, pending an announcement.

All structured warrants relating to DRB-Hicom will also be suspended, it said in a bourse filing today.

Last month, DRB-Hicom proposed to sell a 49.9% stake in Proton Holdings Bhd to Zhejiang Gelly Holding Group Co Ltd, in a bid to boost Proton’s sales and bottom line.

The parties had signed a heads of agreement for the stake sale, with a definitive agreement to be signed in July. Under the deal, DRB-Hicom said Proton would also sell a 51% stake in British car maker Lotus to Geely.

DRB-Hicom’s share price fell 2 sen or 1.13% to close at RM1.75 today, giving it a market capitalisation of RM3.4 billion.
