Another share to buy is Paramount Corporation. With its coming bonus and steady dividend payment coupled with very highly able CEO, I have good faith in this share. Don't forget to attend its AGM on 10th July 2019 and we can get an updated info about this company. Investor.

Dlady is in a deteriorating state due to these reasons

1. Many older people have switched to anlene milk for calcium content which helps strengthen bone.

2. Fierce competition from nestle, f&n and Malaysia milk

3. Malaysia milk is selling at rm2. 20 to undercut dutchlady milk at rm2. 40 for a small pack

AND Malaysia milk offers 20% extra content

4. Young adults are switching to healthier soya milk

5. Mamak store now use oil palm as substitute for milk in teh tarik

So from all angles dlady wil be hit hard

It cannot compete on price also

Posted by sense maker > 2019-08-28 22:28 | Report Abuse

Dlady is affected by bubble milk brown sugar drinks! Normalised annual profits may sink to rm1 to rm1.20 a share.

Sense maker always make good sense in your comments
Your call on hupseng at 90 sen was Chun Chun. Today hupseng closed at 90 sen

Calvin totally agree with you that Ql is grossly overvalued

And this dutchlady?

I visited 7 Eleven and checked with the milk products on offer

A pack of small milk sold at 7 Eleven is priced

1. Nestle just milk Rm1.50(offer promo)

2. Good day by msia milk Rm2.20

3. Dutch lady milk -- Rm2.40

I took a picture of the 3

Nestle one and good day are both taller than the one by Dutch lady

To confirm their popularity I spoke to 7 Eleven sales staff

She said she prefers Nestle just milk and good day milk

Not forgetting that there are

Highlow milk by marigold (gold standard)

Anlene made famous by Datuk Michelle yeoh

NZ fern leal milk my choice

Ensure milk from Spore (another of my favourite)

Yee Lee milk tea

Magnolia fresh milk by F&N (nice one)

Invasion of bubble tea from Taiwan

Condensed milk as cheap substitute for milk in hard times
These used in the tarik are all oil palm based

As there is no moat in dutchlady it is now facing it's most terminal danger like Kodak and Polaroid which went obsolescence

Better sell all Dutch lady as fast as you can and get out

Where is the busybody 3iii

Profit of Dlady has crashed

Sense maker is correct.

When Dlady annual profits sink to Rm1 to Rm2

What will be the true value of Dlady

If p/e it should be only Rm10 to Rm20

Better dispose now or More than Rm40 will be shaved off from Dlady later

3iii name will then be called botak 3iii

Huhuhu!

Pchem collapsing? Don't make me laugh. 50 billion dollar company with 4.3 billion in revenue and 1.1 billion in profit AFTER TAX and a horde of cash behind it.

I am just enjoying collecting my 11 +18 cents dividend since February when I started buying at 8.15 collecting my 11 +18 cents dividend

SO?

COST OF PURCHASE Rm8.15

Less 29 sen dividend = Rm7.86

Price now Rm6.83

SO REAL LOST OF Rm1.03 PER SHARE

IS THIS PHILIP IN HIS RIGHT MIND?

YOU BETTER DON'T LEAD SORCHAI TO HOLLAND HOR!

Balan

Sorry if you got offended

Dutchlady was touted as a challenge to Calvin 's
Stock picks by 3iii

He thought Dutchlady is invinsible and infallible

I have done my research and visited 7 Eleven and Supermarkets

THE more I studied the difficult environment of so many formidable competitors like Nestle, good day milk, anlene, ensure, marigold, f&n milk and f&n condensed milk, fern leaf and a myraid of others I think the glory days of dutchlady and the high ego of 3iii are now vulnerable

All should now sell off Dutchlady shares before it crashes and crashes below Rm50 next

Love to hear some comments on my post below.

How many stocks have been promoted by calvin this year 2019 to date? 36 stocks in 2019 (excluding Carimin which was promoted in 26.1.2018)

Here is a summary of the results of his stock selections?
10 gainers
2 no change
25 losers

How good is his stock selections? 27% are gainers against 67% are losers. For every 3 stocks chosen by calvin, 1 is a winner and 2 are losers.

For calvin who has a portfolio of all or many these stocks, what do you think is his overall return of his portfolio? Do you think his portfolio value can grow at 100% a year(?), 50% a year(?), 10% a year(?), 0% a year(?) or even negative?

It is often interesting to analyse things with some objectivity, however little evidence maybe available.

How impressive is calvintan's stock selections?

Thanks to Philip for collating calvintan's stock selection which can be reviewed here:

Downgrade to UNDERPERFORM (from MARKET PERFORM) with a lower TP of RM54.60 (from RM62.90). Our valuations of 31.0x FY20E PER remains unchanged, being closely in line with the stock’s -0.5SD over its 3-year mean. While the stock still commands the highest ROE of c.100% amongst its large cap F&B peers, investors might be cautious given the sales and earnings risks. Additionally, lower-thanexpected dividend yield of <3% may not excite investors.

Risks to our call include: (i) better-than-expected sales, (ii) lowerthan-expected commodity prices, and (iii) better-than-expected domestic currency.
