The counter is being supported now from falling knife.. but it may not be long. Revenue is lower and profit is only 10% of the previous QR. Way below expectations. Monitor closely and buy on weakness. Gudluck everyone.

Please lah, even though I no longer hold Petron, I also realize that Petron's drop in sales are due to (1) lower crude oil price and (2) mandatory shut down! Otherwise, the result is commendable. In addition, Petron result also shows that refinery + gas stations offer a more stable operation by comparing Shell Refinery's 3rd quarter 2015 report with Petron's 4th quarter 2015 report.

We as investors should really do some basic studies before commenting and not spread nonsense news!

The drop Petron is partly due to switch from Petron to Shell, after result announce, it appear that shell is even more undervalue at PE 1X mah!!.

Of course...Pet Dag....is the most overvalue stock when compare to Petron and Shell mah....!!

Even Pet Dag is an index stock....does not justify the higher valuation and Pe of staggering 31x loh....!!

Many ppl forgot it was closed for 40days...so it was operating only about half the duration for the last q..that alone they are still able to generate

I have already reminded fayeTan about the maintenance issue when the time he/she sharing his/her blog "How much will PETRONM make in 4QFY15? Fair Value is RM10" which expecting a EPS that above 20cents in this 4Q. Nonetheless, i personally think this is still a good counter to hold with coming 20cent div. Happy investing all.

most important is the direction..note SHELL had renewed its loan.
its cash flow is fantastic due unreasonably high depreciation.

Petronm is at 'bloomed' stage.
