This time is a very very big issue for Mas and the whole country. Because of this MH370 issue, it has caused Malaysia to postpone visiting year of Malaysia. Further of this, don't know how this time Mas can go through of this issue...

privitized to save this airline.

The search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 shifted hundreds of miles north on Friday because of new radar data, and U.S. officials said the FBI had found nothing of interest in its much-awaited review of the pilot’s flight simulator and other computer files taken from his home.

Australian authorities leading the multinational hunt moved their search area after receiving new information on where debris may be located. They had been searching about 1,550 miles southwest of the Australian city of Perth and now are searching due west of the city.

The search for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 will most likely be the most expensive hunt in aviation history.

I think Malaysia should offer Chinese relatives to join the search rescue to southern corridor. See for themselves the hardwork that Malaysia and other nations have been through.

All of you already have preconceived mindset against the Govt to have this low class of thought. Even if the Msian defence detected the off course MH370 was flying at that time it also impossible to rescue it while flying over the Indian Ocean. If detected its intention earlier only consolation is to be able to find the crash site sooner, that's all folks. Please calm your mind and think about it.

Chinese online travel agencies ban Malaysia Airlines ticket sales

Popular anger in China against Malaysia's perceived mishandling of the MH370 crisis continues to boil, as several top online travel agencies announced boycotts against Malaysia Airlines until it "gets to the bottom of the truth on Flight MH370.”

Agencies including eLong, LY.com, Qunar, and Mango, which are among the largest online ticket and travel vendors, said they had banned sales of Malaysia Airlines' tickets due to public anger against the carrier and the Malaysian government.

However, Ctrip.com, the country's largest online travel agency, had not put a similar ban in place as of Friday "due to objections raised by the sales department," one Ctrip employee told the South China Morning Post on the condition of anonymity.

[1]

“We will continue the ban indefinitely until the Malaysian government and Malaysia Airlines release every piece of information they have in order to find out the truth about the missing flight as soon as possible, ” reads a statement eLong published on its official Weibo page.

Two passengers on the missing fight MH370 had booked their tickets via eLong, the agency said in its statement, and it would offer each family 100,000 yuan (HK$125,873) in compensation..

In its online statement LY.com said it would offer a full refund to clients wishing to cancel bookings of the airline's tickets and would carry on the ban until the company “sorts out the truth and offers a satisfactory explanation to all the victims and the Chinese people”.

The announcements seemed to have pleased some net users. The eLong statement had received over 7,000 comments and more than 10,000 reposts as of Friday.

“eLong has proved it has a conscience, and I will book from them in the future,” read a comment by one microblogger.

Others said they were displeased by the fact that Ctrip didn’t join its competitors in banning MAS ticket sales.

“I am not using Ctrip to book my tickets anymore,” wrote another microblogger who criticised the company for not showing the same support as its competitors.

Ctrip, Qunar and LY.com ranked among the top three most influential online travel agencies in China, according to a 2013 research [2] conducted by China IT Research Centre.

As of the third quarter of 2013, Ctrip represented 48.9 per cent of the total sales of China’s online travelling booking, while eLong and LY.com represented 9.5 per cent and 6.3 per cent of the market share respectively, according to a research released by iResearch, a market research firm in China.

NASDAQ-listed Ctrip leads the market with a revenue of 5.4 billion yuan in the 2013 fiscal year, according to its financial statement.

Amid growing calls on China's social media to boycott Malaysian tourism and products this week, some bloggers and columnists have warned against stoking further tension between the two countries and urged for calm and help for the passengers' families.

In further backlash from China, the country's online travel agencies has allegedly stopped selling tickets for Malaysia Airlines flights.

According to the South China Morning Post, several of China's top agencies said it will boycott MAS until it "gets to the bottom of the truth on Flight MH370".

Agencies which no longer provide MAS flights as an option include leading agencies eLong, LY.com and Qunar.

However, the daily reported that Ctrip.com, the country's largest online travel agency, is still selling MAS tickets due to "objections raised by the sales department".

The Malaysia Airlines (MAS) workshop in Subang suffered a fire on Wednesday, in yet another unfortunate turn of events that have hit the beleaguered airline.

However, MAS said that the 4pm incident at its Subang Avionics Shop was "minor" and was brought under control immediately.

The unnamed source in the USA Today report says there was no evidence of mechanical failure or hijacking, and Zaharie was the only one on board MH370 who could have made the "deliberate" turnings.

With so few facts available in the MH370 tragedy, the media has turned criminal investigators to answer the second big question in the most baffling mystery in modern aviation history: what happened on board the flight?

Posted by middlefinger > 2014-03-28 16:18 | Report Abuse

The first big question of where the plane is was answered on the night of last Monday (March 24) by Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak, who told the world the flight "ended" in a remote area of the southern Indian Ocean, far from any possible landing site.

Kangkung PM’s other statements on the tragedy were on March 15, when he announced that new satellite information from the West opened the search for MH370 on two new corridors, a northern corridor stretching from the border of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan to northern Thailand and, or a southern corridor stretching from Indonesia to the southern Indian Ocean
