Ahmad Mustapha Hassan says, "At one time Umno politicians criticised the west for their welfare state concept which they had opined caused many in the west to be lazy as welfare would be dished out to them in the form of unemployment benefits and the like. Well, the BN-Umno Baru concept and strategy to win the support of the electorate and Malaysians was even worse." Do you agree with him? Read more, share and debate. You decide.
Hanya Pemimpin berjiwa besar dpat lakukan apa yg tok guru Nik Aziz ni buat. Beliau mohon maaf kpd rakyat Kelantan di atas segala kesilapan yg beliau lakukan selama menjadi me teri besar sebelum ini. Respect.
Certain travel websites already not promoting MAS and it looks like is only the beginning of the impact on forward sales !!! No surprise today it will drop below 0.17 to 0.15 and likely to suspend shares if downtrend pressure is intensive ??? Should have cut my losses last week !!!!
Interpol hits back, says Home Minister has not learned from MH370 tragedy Business & Markets 2014 Written by Surin Murugiah of theedgemalaysia.com Monday, 31 March 2014 08:07
A + A - Reset KUALA LUMPUR (March 31): The responsibility or blame for the failure of Malaysia not to consult Interpol's Stolen and Lost Travel Documents (SLTD) database before allowing travellers to enter the country or board planes rests solely with Malaysia's Immigration Department, according to Interpol.
“Interpol has no idea why Malaysia’s Home Minister chooses to attack Interpol instead of learning from this tragedy,” it said.
In a scathing rebuttal on March 30, Interpol said the failure of the country to consult Interpol could not be defended by falsely blaming technology or Interpol.
“Interpol’s SLTD database takes just seconds to reveal whether a passport is listed, with recent tests providing results in 0.2 seconds.
“The fact is that the US consults this database more than 230 million times per year; the UK more than 140 million times; the UAE more than 100 million times and Singapore more than 29 million times. Not one of these countries, or indeed any Interpol member country, has ever stated that the response time is too slow,” it said in a statement.
Interpol said the truth was that in 2014 prior to the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH 370, Malaysia’s Immigration Department did not conduct a single check of passengers’ passports against Interpol’s databases.
“Consequently, two individuals possessing stolen Austrian and Italian passports were able to board MH 370.
“Had Malaysia consulted Interpol's SLTD database, the fact that both passengers were using stolen passports would have been discovered almost instantaneously,” it said.
It said the country’s Immigration Department owed it to all passengers boarding flights originating in, or passing through, Malaysia to make sure that passports registered as stolen or lost in Interpol’s databases cannot be used to board any flight.
“In this regard, despite this unjustified attack on Interpol, we remain ready, willing and able to help Malaysia better safeguard its citizens and visitors from those seeking to use stolen or fraudulently altered passports to board planes.
The international policing organisation said that after years of witnessing countries fail to consult Interpol’s SLTD database prior to allowing travellers to cross borders and board planes, it created I-Checkit which will allows airlines and cruise lines to ensure that no passenger can use a stolen or lost passport registered in Inetrpol’s database to board one of their planes or ships.
Imagine without international expert 's help!we still sit and wait like dead duck!If we are not capable,we must learn, putting national pride aside, and seek help humbly!
They are insensitive because they cannot speak our bahasa Malaysia. We should promote bahasa internationally. After the read some of the words like kauvanis.....walaoweh...they might misunderstand.
stay away for this counter. Mas flight attendants drop significantly from china which will hurt theirs avenue very badly as we know that china tourist is around 3 millions each year. The compensations to the passengers will be huge after the family decided to sue MAS through the Chicago court.
Heng in hot soup over ‘family extermination’ posting

Double bottom for Mas expected.... tp for this counter is 1.00..waiting for takeover rumour.. need to corporate with madam Gpacket C.C.Puan to goreng up the Mas aeroplane shares....
We refer to your recent testing of the waters to see if you would be welcomed back to take over from our missing prime minister.
Thank you, but most of us are once bitten twice shy and have no stomach for another spell of your tenure.
You say you want to curb the Internet because it contributes to social problems and a rise in the crime index.
Actually, our social problems stem from many sources. Dumping of newborn babies is not something picked up from the Net. Incest and rape were already prevalent. Khalwat and zina thrived well before the age of the Net. Drug abuse was there, too.
Thanks to the Internet, these are brought to our awareness and not censored by your pliant media. Not to mention the numerous scandals of your and subsequent administrations
In order for MAS to rebound, there are few aspect to look for. The very fist aspect is the ' Human Resource'.
- poor management (short insight, no sharp vision and mission) - attitude of employees (they resist of change) - the numbers of employees (overscale, is they all competent? For me, they missed the opportunities to absorb the real youth talent)
Looks like people go from apartheid to no apartheid, but. Malaysia is progressive as always....we go towards apartheid and we will need a Mandela and using sports to bring us together in future.....
For revival in MAS , unless the issues in the following articles can be overcome. :)
MAS Rugi Lagi RM1.174 Bilion. Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Terus Ditelanjangkan Dunia! Pakar Bongkar Puncanya!
by Staff Berita Semasa on February 19, 2014
Setuju?
Kerugian MAS Rugi Lagi RM1.174 Bilion : Punca?
Nampknya semakin meningkat pendapatan MAS, semakin rugi Malaysia Airlines. Benarkah begitu?
nowadays, some full service airlines also have budget airlines like airasia.... merger between mas and airasia is also another solution, become one entity... exchange of shares without cash involvement... don't think anti-competition as we have malindo and other airlines in msia too, also , open sky policy in asean next year... another option, merger with foreign airliners particularly the full service airliners, etc. fingers crossed. Tony Fernandes may not help MAS unless he has equity in MAS... common sense... haha
surely, the bn federal govt wont let MAS to declare bankruptcy as it would bring shame to the workers and affect staff performance... also, last year, already asked money from shareholders via right issue.,.,.. don't think anymore right issue so soon.... Thus, very likely, M&A , disposal by Khazanah or even privatization, delisted and relist later like JAL... fingers crossed
cannot let mas go bankrupt la guys...even if you dont have mas stocks...you still indirectly own mas because govt is using our money to save mas!! if go bankrupt your money and my money hangus la babe. Best way is still to privatize la. (though privatization of such an entity will always incur political interference in day to day operations)
Many strange incidents pertaining to MAS recently :(
Azhari: Explain mysterious fire in Avionic Shop of MAS
March 26, 2014 by weechookeong
Fire in Avionic shop at 4 pm on 26-3-2014
At about 4 pm today there was a fire in MAS Avionic Shop, level 2, Hangar 2 in Subang. The Avionic Shop has been existent in MAS for more than 30 years and this is the first time that a fire broke out so mysteriously.
The highly qualified En Azhari Mohd Dahlan is still CEO of MAS Aerospace Engineering
Avionic Shop is under the Aerospace Engineering of MAS and its CEO is non other than the highly qualified En Azhari Dahlan, who was specially “head hunted” from AirAsia during the infamous MAS – AirAsia shares suap swap. En Azhari Dahlan appeared briefly during the first day of the press conference on the missing MH 370. He didn’t utter a word and was just making up the number for the press conference. Thereafter, he went missing mysteriously from further press conferences on MH 370.
Avionic Shop is a workshop that repairs all avionic components / electronic box that was installed on the aircraft including MH 370.
This mysterious fire was equally unprecedented. It happened during this challenging time for MAS when the missing MH370 story has not been fully settled.
Fire in avionic shop
Some three days ago MH 066 A330 aircraft originated from Kuala Lumpur to Incheon, South Korea, was diverted to Hong Kong due to the failure of one of its electric generators which supply normal electrical power in the aircraft. It has been reported to be “technical problems”. Instead of the highly qualified En Azhari Dahlan coming out to explain the “technical problems’ of the generator, the CEO of MAS had to come up with the explanations. Luckily all 271 passengers were all safe.
The highly qualified En Azhari Dhalan, the CEO of Aerospace Engineering of MAS, must now break his silence to explain what have caused the fire and more importantly what documents or properties have been destroyed by this mysterious fire and was this a sabotage.

Tok Guru ask for forgiveness if he make any mistake while leading Kelantan.....would Najib humble enough to say it?
