Angielim, I have been playing in the sharemarket since 1993, so from experience and gut feeling I made that call.

Angielim, Mulpha is no doubt undervalued but the owners are crooks. The purpose of maintaining listing is to have rights issue every few years to squeeze money out of minority shareholders.

Mulpha is losing money. The longer you keep Mulpha more losses on the way.

k55, look at TheContrarian comment "....RI...squeeze money...minority shareholders." To have RI, first Mulpha has to report some profit, then only rights. Therefore based on historical past of Mulpha, will make losses (2012 : Loss RM473.8M, 2013 : loss RM27.7M), then profit (2014: RM124.5M, 2015 : RM163.3M). After 2 years profits, then rights issue in 2016. Now after RI, start reporting losses first maybe few years later then only report profit. Then only rights issue!!!

In the meantime the directors will be earning big fat salaries.

JamesPond

The directors salary in 2015 is about RM1.6M and there are 8 Directors, so not too fat lah. What I find strange is that they earn so little, share price keep going down, yet every few years they have a few hundred millions to subscribe for rights!!

Belum berhasrat balik Malaysia

yes-it's good news- USD90million term loan-refinancing from 8.5% to 6% interest cost per annum-cost saving.

This USD loan was to finance right issue of AVEO group last 3 years which market capital worth more than Mulpha itself by now. Aveo market capital worth AUD2billion now.

There is a unrealised market capital gain when AVEO share price is AUD3.50/ share currently.

What sort of a company which calls for a 1 for 1 rights issue at 25 sen, then dump the shares until it has fallen to 20.5 sen? Never pays a single sen dividend this century.
