Now Spore oil refinery is scaling down leh. Even Spore also know oil refinery business is sunset already moving ahead to hydrogen fuel leh. HY ada future kah. Think lah. Haiyoh. Correct?

Singapore scales up hydrogen fuel plans, pledges 2030 emissions cuts
The city-state is pumping millions of dollars into hydrogen research, and looking to build a small power plant fuelled by hydrogen derivatives. Its 2030 climate target falls short of what scientists say is needed to keep the world liveable.

The global market size of hydrogen fuel is expected to grow 65 per cent to over US$225 billion by 2030. Within the Asia Pacific, Australia and Japan are generally seen as front-runners, while India has also said it wants to export renewable hydrogen.

TOKYO -- The race to establish green hydrogen production bases in the Asia-Pacific region is heating up, with Western and regional companies cooperating on massive projects to produce what many see as a next-generation power source.

Danish multinational Orsted, the world's largest offshore wind power company, is considering entering the market, as are major Western oil companies.

Green hydrogen, which does not emit carbon dioxide in its production process, is seeing demand rise globally for use as a power-generating fuel. Europe, where renewable energy is widespread, has taken the lead in the field, but Asia is now starting to move toward production.

We have had an initial focus on Europe. But for certainly in the foreseeable future, we want to step into that area in Asia," Per Kristensen, who oversees the Asia-Pacific division at Orsted, told Nikkei.

Orsted agreed to cooperate with South Korean steelmaker POSCO last year on an offshore wind power project. The companies have also started a feasibility study for the production of green hydrogen, and could be preparing a supply for "hydrogen steel," which uses hydrogen instead of coal for production.

Orsted operates a business in Denmark that uses offshore wind power to split water molecules to produce green hydrogen. Having launched multiple projects mainly in the North Sea, it now looks to utilize its know-how in Asia.

SINGAPORE — Singapore on Tuesday (Oct 25) unveiled its plan to reach net zero emissions by 2050, with a stronger target of 60 million tonnes — down from 65 million tonnes — of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions by 2030.

To achieve its 2050 goal, the country will peak its carbon dioxide equivalent emissions earlier, said Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, who was speaking at the opening of the annual Singapore International Energy Week conference.

Now ular want to know 2025 Spore plan itu ada betul or not. So fast meh. Their EV charging infrastructure plan ready by 2030 leh. Haiyoh. Correct?

Singapore aims to develop a greener and more sustainable land transport sector, reducing peak land transport emissions by 80%, by or around mid-century. The Singapore Green Plan 2030 includes a strong push to electrify our vehicle population, which would help Singapore achieve our vision of 100% cleaner energy vehicles by 2040.

To support this, we have launched a new campaign to raise awareness of Electric Vehicles (EVs), their benefits to owners and the environment, as well as how we can all contribute towards the responsible and gracious sharing of charging infrastructure.

Q3 cost of manufacturing is higher than q2 cost of manufacturing is not beyond my expectations due to delays and timing differences between oil prices and how they get reflected in cost of manufacturing

u see huge unrealised loss below the line in q2 results....... u don't see huge derivative losses in q3.....a possible explanation is that these are forward transactions and accounted for in purchases during q3.

1 in 2 public buses to be electric by 2030
9 March 2022 7 Comments
Half of Singapore’s public bus fleet will be powered by electric buses by 2030, as announced in the Committee of Supply Joint Segment on Singapore Green Plan 2030 on 8 March 2022.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) aims to have half of its public bus fleet be electric by 2030. This is about 3,000 buses, as mentioned in a speech by Minister for Transport, Mr S Iswaran.

This is also in line with the Land Transport Master Plan 2040, where LTA has committed to a 100% cleaner energy public bus fleet by 2040.
