In 2010 , the hike is from 0.3 to 0.6 and 0.4 to 0.7. the share price soar from 1.9++ to 3++ in 2 weeks time.
If the 60 sen adjust to 1.00 while the rate for letters weighing up to 50g rise from 70 sen to 1.20....what will happen to the share price?

It is due to social responsibility, POS forced to maintain the postal rate for so many years and keep such big amount of manpower to serve the whole nation. It is only fair to let it lift the postal rate to continue serve those unprofitable route which no other courier co will consider.

I think one thing needs to be clear: Pos has to do national service at pricing that is not profitable. Competitors don't have to. Competitors aren't interested.

So tariff increase is for national service.

I went collect document from Puchong Poslaju last Friday. They have refurbished the centre, the desktop looks like bank and more seats for customers at waiting area. This shown POS become very customer orientated which is essential for long term growth. Feel proud to be with them.
