Google will be another potential customer for YTL Power's AI data centre park in Kulai.

In fact, all the big clouds such as Microsoft, Google, Meta and AWS are potential customers who could contract for YTL Power to build new AI data centres for them to operate for their AI cloud computing business.

AMInvest are of the view that the net profit of the 100MW AI section of Johor DC could potentially be more than RM1bil per year.

Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said the government has allocated RM180 billion in the construction sector this year, half of which is the allocation approved for the federal government development expenditure in Budget 2024 while the rest is from the private sector.
PETALING JAYA (May 9): A total allocation of RM180 billion in the construction sector for government and private sector projects will be up for grabs this year.
Deputy Works Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan said RM90 billion of that is the allocation approved for the federal government development expenditure in Budget 2024 while the rest is from the private sector.
“In the middle of this year, many tenders will be called comprising two types of tender — open tender with pre-qualification and selective tender — and there will also be many letters of acceptance to be issued. This will further boost the construction sector,” he said.

How come even in the US campus universities have started to ban investment to benefit Israel related companies, but institutional government investors like KWSP are still investing in YTL, which is related to Israel via its collaboration with NVIDIA?

It's high time KWSP must divest away from YTL whose monetary relationship with NVIDIA is not only against Malaysian national interest, but also the interests of humanity.

TNB should also evoke the clauses in their take or pay agreement to block any "pay" or "take" from any such company like YTL that uses the nation's electric supply to benefit and enrich an Israel owned company NVIDIA.

KWSP must sell now, take back their capital and redeploy to better use that does not endanger our nation.

How come the US can come and check and tell whosoever that they cant send their money here or there, while we as rakyat of Malaysia cannot tell our own KWSP not to send our retirement money here or there and into NVIDIA and Israeli hands?

Dear Al Tugauw, if we still insist not to participate with what latest technology bring to the world by a mankind, we definitely will be far behind anyone in the world. Be realistic that we are very small country and almost all technologies company invested in our country are not from your side. If we are still selective on who we need to be friendship with, we will be always far behind them. We need to be at their level (as what our Pmx hardly chasing almost everyday) for our country to be respected by other countries. If we cannot beat them, we have to join them…gain knowledge from what they bring to the world so that at least in future, we sit at their level.

Al Tugauw …. EPF, PNB funds like ASB, ASM invest in YTLP. These institutions paid excellent yearly dividends. If you are true to yourself, you should withdraw all yr savings/investments with them. I will continue to keep my money there!
US is seen here applying bullying tactics on us. Their Intelligence have evidence of such illegal clandestine movement and we should cooperate & NOT close our eyes.

Macquarie TP for YTLP - 7.30

Macquarie places a lot of weight into YTLPower's AI data centre business with forecase net profit contribution of as much as RM1.5 billion in FY2026 from 100MW of AI data centres, rising to RM2.4 billion net profit contribution in FY2029 from 200MW AI data centres and to RM3.5 billion in FY2029 from 300MW AI data centres.
