I think some dividends must have to be declared at the end of financial report to regain confidence of yilai supporter. personally think that most of the investor here are seeking for stable and consistent dividend .with increasing profit but no or little dividend will cause another sell down.
No la,i visited the area in sept 14,Tesco is nearby there seem to be a lot of activities coming up along the kulai ayer itam main trunk road which yilai 's factory is sited
Ya ya ...,those were the days,a packet of nasi lemak at the nearby kopi stall was 20sen while just across the street, when night fall,a basic massage was only 7rm!
As the supply of the material for the property market is still strong (compensate by br1m housing scheme), so relook to the counter that can sustain the growth even the market is down. Accumulated few lots at rm1.12 today. At present price, it dy is still attactive and ther is still a room the the price as well.
I hope young management will maintain high dividend payout as what old management did. Quarterly report will be out next month. Hopefully some movement on share price.
Just wondering any long term investor of Yilai here? I bought some in November hoping to get its dividend. However, no dividend is declared for the past Q result, a bit dissapointed here. Given the bearish market outlook, I will just continue to hold as the counter is thinly traded, difficult to cash out... what do you guys think?
If the young taukeh is not stingy in the dividend payout, yilai price todaymay be higher.Still i feel that the old taukeh is more considerate , generous and socially more caring!
Maybe the new owner need some knocking of the senses to appreciate that investors' loyality had been driven mainly by dividend reward...and this is not America.
Although the market is mostly from local and the impact rm dropped no impact to Yilai at all. When rm dropped (import good will more expensive)and no budget cutting for construction/project, no GST for resident properties. I think Yilai worth to have 2nd look. Decided to bought few lots with average of rm1.00 recently.
Why do you think this chap Mr Hsieh Yu Tien disposed his shares between 2012-2013 for around 0.84-0.95 range AND then bought/acquired shares back lately in 2014 till now for prices above 1.00 . To be fair the transactions amount are small to raise much alarm anyway. Still, something to ponder... Hmmmmmmm...
The key question about this company for small shareholders like us : 1) Why the lower yield dividend vs previous years. New BOD have not communicate with us so far regarding this. 2) Why founder Mr Lim Oon Kok sold off his entire shares (at abt RM1.30 its not "an offer that cannot resist") ... Why?! Even if you want retire, you can appoint new MD without selling your shares. At RM1.30 ?? SERIOUSLY?? I mean REALLY.... seriously. 3) Can this new young blue blood chap MD from Tan empire reward and have interests on small share holders like previous MD Lim.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
