Today appear in the Edge as no 6 in the Edge Property Excellence Awards 2014 a big jump from 13th place in 2013 beating giant like IGB, Mah Sing, IOI Property & E&O. I like Tropicana because share price is cheapest among top developers.

Think properly, they missed a few of their planned execution. Missed the sale of Plaza, missed the sale of Trops mall, Private Placement planned for Q1 this year didn't happen, a lot of Management staff left, and their money making to boost the bottomline came from a poorly executed SnP of land sales of Canal City by PNSB by releasing the power of attorney to Trops for a mere 50M.

Liew would have moved at lightning speed and not allow the price to hover at low 1.3x and fell further to 1.2x. Liew has a lot of pride and he can back up his reputation.

I can assure you if the price ever go up, nobody in right mind will keep this share and the price will stay down again later. There are a lot of dumb joker who think price of share going down like that is normal. Downtrend channel like that can stay for awhile if no intervention. As you can see Trops Managment dont care

The simplest way is to pay more money to cimb to writing a paper and upgrade their NR to Add with high conviction. By then you will see share price shoot up 100%. Their current NR rating TP is above 3.00 with 30-40% discount of RNAV, while other IBs rated it with TP of above 60% discount. If you look at the huge discount (current market price is at about 75% discount), it's pretty much priced in the negative perspective of management.

this ceo yau kok seng is previously CEO of Hong Leong industries . He bring the hong leong culture into tropicana . Normally hong leong group managed well with many KPI.
The old team from tropicana cannot tahan hong leong management style , so resigned.
It is good that weak people resign , Then the company only can change.

Long term is good. One day maybe Guoco bought over Tropicana. Name change to Go-Tropicana-Co.

All the good forumer covering this stock have run. The investment hse covering this all give low target and the one that give high RHB also back tracking. It will be impossible for Tropicana to get Private Placement partners after what happen to the 2013 partners who bought at 1.78
