@ckk2266 I agree with u but still need to be careful. if they want to ensure the deal good through, they have to take care of Puncak shareholders' feelings as well. Puncak shareholders might not see the value of Triplc as you and I do
@littlelolita direct translation is correct but I do not agree with some of the points.
2) the cash may not be meaningful as they may be held at the subsidiary level. if they sell the subsidiary, the cash goes with it. same as the RM200m+ debt. it is not a net cash company, at least not now 4) the agreement signed was only HOA. no matter how unlikely we think, there is always some risk that nothing may happen in the end as it is not legally binding. the price is also not confirmed yet.
if u r interested, I did value Triplc at net cash in my article and all my assumptions are stated there. u may refer there and make your own conclusions
another wild guess of mine is, because it will take quite a lot to explain to Puncak shareholders, Puncak may just ask a valuer to value the contracts, maybe one of the big 4 or other accounting firms. best case scenario, their hands are tied by the assumptions disclosed in the annual report (discount rates, cashflows etc which I used in my valuation) so they have to come up with a value close to mine. then everybody huat ah!
Yes, totally agree with jayloh. His sharing and calculation definitely is professional level and more realistic and true. His calculation and study part has totally convinced me.
Hi Jayloh, Triplc Venture and Triplc Medical is owned by Triplc, if both both subsidairy company sale to Puncak, the cash will flow into Triplc. Isn't it?
Just another 2 cents opinion here This stock is fully cornered by Rojadi n gang for sure. No liquidity ( volume )unless this buayas sell. So remember what I said here when you decide to play with Buayas. U guy should also think like how a buaya behaves so u move accordingly. Me I not interested so u guy good luck playing. Clean your ass he definitely like it dari belakang one. Hehehehe....
@richard wong to answer your question, the disposal consideration may take into account the cash level of the subsidiary. but when you sell a company, all assets and liabilities go with the transaction. e.g. a subsidiary can have asset 100m (of which cash 50m), liability 50m, equity 50m. buyer and seller can agree to transact at 60m. then the seller gets 60m cash proceeds from the disposal but the 50m cash in the company he sold will now legally belong to the buyer, same thing for other assets and liabilities in the company. so cashflow from disposal and the original cash inside the subsidiary are 2 separate things
@lcwin in principle i agree with u. but in this case, buayas have self interest as well. so when buayas interest are aligned with us, we just play alongside them but that doesn't mean we trust them
i'm just gonna put another wild prediction here (don't hold me to it). if one day suddenly this counter price shot up, that means good news is near, just buy. after good news announced, sell next day at opening bell (should earn a little bit) as that will be the short term peak. for those greedy ones can always pick it up again on retracement
most likely, just flip for quick buck. that's why I assumed 10% maximum ESOS issued when I calculate the fair value (very conservative, unlikely to happen) because you know these crooks surely want to benefit themselves as well. we can expect more issuance all the way until completion, if it happens
without puncak, this company is just a value trap. so those who say it's overvalued may have their point, but just didn't consider the current circumstances
jayloh, you are too kind, but maybe you are not fully know that holland master calvintan. He is not really care overvalued or be cautious....He is just a mean loser and jealous lar. He like to pretend to be as a master.
r°Moi Depending on the selling price of these assets. Valuation of assets should be out anytime between now and 18 August. Puncak is now loaded with cash.
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
