I believe can be consistent because Parkson yearly EPS easily above 10sen a year. Recent loss is due to provision for impairment loss from closure of Parkson Hanoi. It can be written back(as profit) should there is no claim(or claim less than provided).
Leesk Dividend can be consiatent or one off if continue to reduce profit or face losses? 27/08/2015 17:53
So share distribution of 3:50 will increase their holding to 79.74, then to 84.52, to 89.6 to 94.97 to 100%. So even without buying anymore share, 5x share distribution of 3:50 will increase their holding to 100%?
Parkson has dropped from RM4.70 back in Aug 2012 and now is trading at RM1.05 with first ever loss reported in its financial results and yet you guys still wanna support while what WC did was just to save his own ass and not about the company. What did you all see in PHB that I failed to see? Just because it's cheap?
bloody imbeciles. for so long do buybacks instead of addressing structural business issues. what golden fools. have to have a special award for such business idiots. Tony F of AirAsia fame can compete also.
WC using his inter-co to buy back PHB is a sign that he's PRETTY SURE PHB will pay as per suggested, 10 sen per share special dividend, that's 9%+ yield
Well. As they say, pride before a fall. Now TF and Parkson Family can commiserate together because of the prideful decisions they make. I only regret th dumb IB never issue PUT warrants for these two counters.
with it drop to RM1, PHB will be the highest dividend yield among its peers, recent QR hit by one time provision, next QR anyhow also will have profit of 200m, EVEN MALAYSIA, VIETNAM REGION LOSS MONEY
ks55, after 4pm liow, total bid 3x over total ask, after retailers selling, don't think anyone will want to sell anymore, after divestment, PHB will be a CASH COW sitting with 1 billion cash
lewis, who also know any price below 1.2 is a bargain, with divestment, cfm PHB will have cash pile of 1b with healthy balance sheet, look at it's current market cap, some more 10 sen special dividend
In bear market, logic, rationale are all out of the windows ! my concern is whether this company has many foreign funds holding ? If yes, they might just dumb like no tomorrow at any dirt cheap price if economics outlook turn bearish in Malaysia !!
