Ssteel got 697M inventories on last QR,means that this quarter will have around 700M sales?or some of the inventories will keep for next quarter?

Ssteel did the good plan in recent quarter which accumulated the inventories. Now is time for them to enjoy the margin gained.

Inventories are measured at lower of cost or net realisable value while sales are measured at fair value of consideration received. If all the 700m inventories valued at cost are sold off, revenue could hit rm1 billion

oo,suddenly confuse inventories as sales.
inventories increase compare with other quarter may consider as increase sales if they able to sell more inventories?
if sales increase,but profit margin decrease(due to lower steel price on Q2),may ssteel submit EPS 7.5sen this QR?wondering

Thanks LeoTing sharing. Looks like the shortage could be due to some major steel player furnace down also increasing pricing has triggered buyer to stock up as well before the price trending higher. If based on inventories, no doubt ssteel could fill u the market shortage as it is able to run its facilities

Sincerely thanks to Leoting, I have been inspired by his analyst and follow him end of last year.
My lowest cost for SSTEEL was 93 sen, and highest was RM1.69, average cost is RM1.24.
But the sad things is I have limited fund, so cannot buy as much as possible.

Malaysia Steel sector,

has been consolidate at is average longer than previous period;
So, i dont know how long this wave going to take it to this wave peak .
But, considering today is it's commencing of the new uptrend ; I assume this ride going to last for at least x 2months .

Dont forget , with anti-dumping duty take force ... it's a sure bet for most instituitional funds by now (this is getting clearer).
I cant think of a reason to slow down the funds manager to go in while this sector for its fast recovery.
