Earnings Upon completion of the Proposed Asset Exchange, the Malton Group is expected to register a profit on disposal of the VSQ Properties for financial year ending 30 June 2014, assuming that the said proposal is completed within six (6) months from the date of the VSQ SPA. For purpose of illustration, assuming that the Proposed Asset Exchange is completed on 30 June 2012, the net profit on disposal of the VSQ Properties, on a proforma basis, would be approximately RM37.8 million, (less income tax at 25%) or an increase in earnings per share by RM0.09 per share.
Loong said Malton will build a shopping mall worth RM3.5 billion in Bukit Jalil which is comparable to Pavilion KL in size.
