Hi Melvin,
I am newbie here.
Does the statement of Dividend above means if I sold my HSL before 13/09/2012, I will not get the dividend?
Please advice.

I'll chip in...

Chloe, if you sold it before ex date ( 13/9/12) then you will NOT be entitiled for any dividend.

If you sell ON the ex date (13/9/12) then you will still be entitled for the dividend.
Please note that the price of the stock on ex date usually will be lower than before ex date as the dividend payable is taken into account.

The dividend you are entitled is RM 0.0105 per share or RM 1.05 per lot (100 shares).

Most of the target were up to RM 2. It was undervalue stock and for the past few months construction field is not doing really good, average gain 3.2% (research from sin chew paper) compare to others field, it was the worst. But it should be chasing up soon.

it will mostly up, WCT HSL and gamuda etc after the election, because most of the contracts were given, or approved by the government. If the europe issue stay stable, it will raise to the value where it should be.

As dknycom says HSL is good counter then don't miss the flight to buy it. Now HSL price stay at range $1.50 to $1.60 and still can top up money. Somehow many research company notice this counter can outperform, they encouraging investor to pick up the stock.Hope that big bonus will be coming soon.

RM 1.50 is the best price last week.
However RM 1.54 still can buy some.
MY TARGET PRICE is RM 1.80 above.
Just waiting for next UP timing only.

Do not divorced from fundamentals.If HSL can meet the basic 6 standard fundamental requirement as below.Why not invest a portion or collect more during weakness ? Strong fundamental base company and outlook,share price will rise higher is just in time waiting.
1. cash on hand is strong enough to pay off all debts(Currently net cash).
2. high dividend that FD return.
3. diluted earnings per share
4. High shareholders' funds returns (ROE)
5. value per share (NTA) over stock
6. Low PE rate.
