bro rocky... no point arguing here with you... just take a look at today's share price of HSL... ppl started to discover its great potential in winning Pan Borneo jobs and other construction jobs in Sarawak as the government is now mainly focusing on Sarawak... and we all know why BN is so scared to piss off Sarawakians... and the only way of pleasing them is to launch more developments... let's see...

today the price shot up to as high as RM2.11 from yesterday's closed RM1.98... and it will continue its uptrend climb when more ppl discover that HSL is one of the main beneficiaries of the incoming big big Sarawak projects.... another counter to look at is Pansar... as this company is one of the biggest construction materials trading companies in Sarawak...

The Board of Directors of Hock Seng Lee Berhad (“HSL”) is pleased to announce that the consortium of Kumpulan Nishimatsu Hock Seng Lee has been awarded a contract by the State Government of Sarawak through Jabatan Perkhidmatan Pembetungan Sarawak, worth Ringgit Malaysia Seven Hundred Fifty Million Only (RM750,000,000.00) for the Kuching City Central Wastewater Management System: Centralized Sewerage For Kuching City Centre (Package 2) (“the Project”).

Hock Seng Lee Berhad has 75% equity in the Consortium. The scope of works for the Project includes construction and commissioning of the wastewater treatment plant, main, secondary and tertiary lines, property connections, provision of process plant and equipment, related building works, mechanical and electrical works.

The contract period for the completion and commissioning of the wastewater treatment plant and the sewer networks is seventy two (72) months. The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL Group as the Project progresses during the contract period. However, the transaction will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholdings of HSL.

if you guys scrolled back what I wrote even before the release of this announcement on Bursa website, you will know how much homework I had done with HSL... see my previous posts in Jan and Mar 14-16... I already foresee tonnes of contracts flowing in for HSL... (for sure)...

That 750mil on sewage project alone, what about the Pan Borneo highway project plus the hype of the coming state election in which many other projects will be dangled. HSL is looking promising if we take all that into consideration.
