@kenghock, cannot anyhow say "Rosli the main shareholder is laughing his way to bank by buying every day." If that is true, he must declare and it will be seen in Bursa's announcements...... but I agree this Puncak is a steal at the current ridiculously low price of 1.15; unfortunately a small retailer like me got no money to buy :(

jacklintan, there is no fear if there's market correction, but a lot to worry how Rozali will spend the billion... I am very upset Rozali didn't even care to mention share buyback desire. Puncak could easily utilize 200 millions for buyback without concern that its balance sheet will deteriorate.

My big fear on this counter is that this rozali fella will just let it slide below RM1 and then take it private at a ridiculous price leaving minorities to be happy with RM1 special dividend. Strange things can happen in Bursa. I really hope this is not the case. Will continue to monitor but wont commit until there is some positive announcements on the future direction.

O&G...

Aggressive selling may be due to Puncaks entry into O&G

Let's take a look at Puncaks O&G business...



oil & gas business (transmission and installation of pipes)



This looks rather downstream.. downstream... and OK to me...

And..... frankly kinda laughable as it is rather smallish... and O&G really?

Must has been also called O&G as O&G at the time was seeexxxyyy...


Low oil prices.. at the most just means no jobs... is ok.. not that capital intensive.. not heavy.... unlike MMHE or THHEAVY


Rightly classified under "Industrial"... not "Oil&Gas"

LTH bought at above 3 before special dividend when it's forced to announce position after holding more than 5%...it would be big blow to LTH if it's LTH selling. Anyhow, Puncak board should announce steps to buy back 200 millions worth of shares so long price is below 2.50

Shariah thingy interpretation...


Anybody know if Shariah thingy is on average cost of portfolio or cost of block by block of purchases?

If it is the latter then LTH is only required to sell those which it has bought at lower prices in the early days...

And... if so selling could be coming till tailend as it has bought above 3 in the later days... as such.. need not sell those at current low prices

LTH didn't Sell Brahims eventhough loosing lucrative MAS's catering. But now Felda is selling
