MULTI-CODE ELECTRONICS INDUSTRIES (M) BERHAD ("MCE") has on 22 April 2020 entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with JUOKU TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. of Taiwan, Republic of China (“JUOKU”). a) MCE shall manufacture, assemble, and promote automotive lighting system in the territory of Malaysia; and b) JUOKU shall provide technology for product development, technical assistance and information in order for MCE to manufacture the automotive lighting.
MCE Unit to supply components for new PERODUA car models 5 May 2020 KUALA LUMPUR: MCE Holdings Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Bhd has secured contracts to supply electronic and mechatronic components and parts for new Perodua car models.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said it will begin supplying the part from the first quarter of its financial year ended July 31, 2020, over a period of six years.
MCE is expected to generate revenue of about RM34mil from the contracts over the six-year period while its estimated investment cost is RM2.2mil.
"The Projects will not have any material impact on the earnings of the MCE Group for the
financial year ending 31 July 2020.
"The Projects are expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the MCE Group over a 6 year period commencing from financial year ending 31 July 2022," it said.
Thanks, Stead. I checked their annual report. The land is clean from encumbered. If the management not going to do anything with the land, must well their sell it off to take profit and have RM35mil in hand.

MARii is to provide the infrastructure and platform as a service and to promote MCEIB as the preferred vendor for the commercialisation and implementation of such system and technologies to the automotive and non-automotive industries.
MCEIB is to design, develop, manufacture and supply the relevant technologies that are adopted in autonomous driving and other advanced driving capabilities. MCEIB is also required to design and supply functional switches, electronic control modules, digital meter cluster and other components that are electronics and mechatronics in nature.
With the launch of MARSAC, 10 component manufacturers will begin their collaborative design projects guided by experts from Proton and MARii and the automotive technology centre aims to allow the participation of 30 component manufacturers to be part of the MARSAC design community by 2022.
“There are currently about 641 parts and components manufacturers operating in Malaysia, with about a quarter of this need of localised design to ensure industry competitivity.

The X50 rolled off the production line at Proton's Tanjung Malim plant for the first time today. The plant saw a RM1.2 billion extension in 2019.
The new Proton SUV will be locally assembled at the plant and is expected to have purchase intent of RM1.8 billion annually among the domestic automotive vendor community.
Combined with another RM1 billion in parts purchases for the Proton X70, the combined annual contributions to automotive vendors by Proton's two SUVs will be around RM2.8 billion.
"As a company that manufactures locally, Proton's growth means more money is injected into Malaysia's automotive vendor ecosystem leading to more jobs and wealth creation. This is vital at a time when Covid-19 has significantly hit Malaysia's economy," said Proton chairman Datuk Seri Syed Faisal Albar.

For 22 October 2020 onwards This stock is definitely on the uptrend mode with strong uptrust to reach RM 1.60 to RM 1.73 band and when it crosses, it can revisit the old high of RM 1.82 created on 2 August 2013.
