Beary , yes . sweet memories of good old days . I was young too . Made by first bucket of gold in 2000 with CI hit more than 1000 again plus the semicon and electronic boom. MPI , Unisem , Globtronics etc skyrocketed to multibaggers.
Then 2018 and 2019 US financial meltdown. CI went down from 1500 plus to 800 plus. Another.opportunity.

Of course our only hope is vaccines. But there are signs now slowly appearing that Covid is able to evade the current vaccines. Although still at early stage, but with the coming wave, its going to be a game changer, ,when it can infect more and more people, and speed up the mutation to breakthru with newer and more powerful variants.

IM, pls go to 9:30 and 53:0 of the video where they interview Dr. Geert. What he said made sense. The original strain will only affect the elderly and those immune-compromised ppl. The healthy and the young no need to worry as they will be able to overcome the infection. But with the testing and rollout of the vaccines, current latest variants will affect the young and healthy too, as displayed by Delta. His hypothesis is that soon even those vaccinated will also succumb to the virus, due to them losing the innate immunity response against newer variants that escape the virus. With current hindsights, we need to take heed to what he has said.
