What make matter worse is that solar cells are still selling for about US$1.10 currently, compared with about US$1.50 in July. If no substantial increase of ASP in December, solar 4Q will be making loss again !! Not a very bright prospect indeed.

Hello rider friend, I quoted the solar selling price from today the star report.

Earlier on, uob kay hian research said, tekseng average PV cell selling price drop from Aug US 0.32 to Sep US 0.27. That is 15% drop in price in 1 month from Aug to Sep !

I don't know why the selling price in the star report and uob research is different, but both show ASP drop of at least 15% (more than 2Q solar profit margin of 13.19%), which is enough to land the solar segment in the negative territory.

there are few users here like beso are intentionally posting bad comments. they did the same thing in many other stocks forum as well, all they say is "drop, told u will drop 30%, run now, faster run". quite obvious their intention is to create fear so that people panic sell and they can collect at cheap price. Always do your own study and research, do not believe what some random guy say on the internet.
