I think its a smart move. I did the same too. After the split, we will start at a lower price level, and hopefully the new factory will start producing and will generate more revenue and profits for the company so the dividends will be good, better if share price goes up.

I remember the management has indicated that the production line does not consume a lot of electricity.

After the split, 10 sens a year => 2.5sens per quarter is 0.5 sens more than what we are getting now. It will make me very very happy.

I went to check the site last week and pity that no work has started. They were only piling up the sand for more filling? We will not see any contribution from the new factory in FY14.

However, it is not bad being paid well (>5.5%) while waiting.

I like Tomypak - solid business & earning. Very generous in dividend. 4 time a year like Wellcall

Any comments?

Share splitting may spike the price ? It is only happened here ! why ? punters are out to put SELL first before anything else . After all , nothing change for the co except more scrips and a bit cheaper to owning shares at much much lower value and much much lower dividend . but here punters don't mind the dividend but got the chance to gamble is the main agenda. Once the dust settles , it will reflect the actual value in the end ! Many will find that they are holding a very much inflated scrips where they need another 10-20 years to recover ? who knows?

Firebird, yes, I live in Ipoh. No piling work on site. The imported sand I guess is for filling the pond at the back portion of the land.

Thanks Dan, a bit of delay here I guess. Nevertheless, they are doing well now and improving. It will be an added bonus when they get it up and running soon.

Yes Firebird, it is delayed. Their original plan is to complete inJuly 2014. I guess nothing will roll out of factory 3 in 2014.Maybe 2nd half of FY2015.

How are they going to cope with the higher production capacity (70%?)?

We can only sit and look pretty with the handsome dividends (5 to 6 more Q) before it is unveiled.

factory building construction normally fast track, takes around 6~9 months completion period....

if it is targeted to complete by July 2014, it is still on schedule

u see them put up the hoarding on the site already?

normally year end, no builder wanna start work. The earliest, base on the market norm, should be after CNY already

Dan, I am ex-Ipoh. Number4, agreed factory building construction is fast. With the new factory they can add more 70%. I have attended their last two AGM. These guys are serious business. very modest and hard working. Watch out when they announced something new willya? Be confident

No hoarding. Only piles of sand and boundary (red) pegs on the ground. Agree, I will also start construction works after CNY. However, they still can complete the necessary piling b4 CNY. I understand that they already working on the factory layout and purchase of machinery way back in March.

Firebird, I attended the last 2 AGMs as well. Didn't notice any fireworks, can't recognise you. Just joking....

I agree that they are modest, hard working and down to earth businessmen. I do have a lot of condident on them.

? are you expecting something new? How can they have more goodies ?

For them its a definite go, already purchase the land for this purpose and why would they do it, if business is no good, future too. haha Dan, no fireworks, everything smooth sailing and happy. Sometimes it makes a lot of sense to attend AGMs. A new related business, a powerful shot. I would not sell my shares. In OnG, so many counters, I can only select few, same goes for rubber gloves, select 1 or 2 to keep. The only one listed rubber hoses company, big enough to do business in 6 categories of industries all over the world. Hmm..obviously much more to come

I jusy bought because their core business is good and they have exited the loss making steel pipes venture. Earnings will return to a more satisfactory level. Only thing I am not sure is their dividen pay-out policy

Dan, earnings will be good, we are on the right track, except that I am still buying if you are not.

Limayseng, sometimes there are investors who want to log in profits first as it had a good run, and buy back later when its about to run up again after the split date announcement.

Technical Analysis not suitable to use for good fundamental counter. It only to show you fear vs greed with volume but not absolute!

I am gald I receive such prompt support from 2 sifu.

If you beleive the share still on its uptrend then now is a wonderful time to buy.

For this wonderful counter, we are paid well in dividend to wait for its expansion plan to bring us to a higher earning platform.

Good to talk to you again firebird. 1 or 2 NVM Lol

Sifu, sharing is a good thing, firebird=2013, firebird2=2014 LOL

Conditions have never been more favourable for this counter to increase their profits, while they build up their capacity and market in different regions and products.

There isn't that many counters that pay good dividends and price appreciation, that is backed by solid financials

Yes Dan, we are, you have lots of experience that you have shared. Am glad the price is holding, despite the past few days onslaught. So far, no big selling. Mondrian is quiet, and perhaps waiting with a mandate to acquire aggressively and not gradual, at the right time.

danchong

Modrian is a big factor. It was quite amazing how they manage to accumulate so many shares. If they put a higher valuation to the stock, the price will go up and stay high.

At this juncture, I am happy to collect 5 sens (2 sens after split) dividend a quarter until the 3rd factory is up & sunning. I am confident that they can do it at ease.

It is a pity that no more selling below 3.55.

Mondrian have not bought any in December when the price reach its height at Rm4.00. They have not bought anything too this month, so my guess is that they are waiting for anyone who wants to sell cheap, as I have mentioned earlier before when I checked Bursa, they have been buying almost every month in 2013

honeydream, though you ve bought at a higher price, no need to regret, I believe as a fundamental counter, you will make much more. I have been through that too when I bought PWRoot at Rm0.70. I don't regret holding it and never let go.

Yah....i should always think back why i chose to buy last timw. There must always be with a solid reason to place my hard earned money there. Thks anyway
