Teo Seng Capital - Set for a record year Date: 20/02/2024 Source : Rakuten Stock:TEOSENG
I am an ordinary investing public and was shocked to read your above article. Quote, “Though the company's current net gearing of 26.6x in rather exorbitant” unquote
From Toeseng Capital latest financial report ended 31/12/2023 Total equity: RM 477,078,000
Non-current liabilities Term loan: 46,264,000 Hire purchase payable: RM 4,004,000 Lease liabilities: RM 3,241,000 Deferred tax liabilities: RM 29,016,000
Current liabilities Trade payables: RM 43,654,000 Other payables and accrued expenses: RM 35,503,000 Hire purchase payable: RM 3,258,000 Other bank borrowings: RM 59,856,000 Lease liabilities: RM 852,000 Tax payable: RM 2,012,000
Total Liabilities: RM 227,660,000
And by the way the current assets RM 312,589,000 is higher than the total liabilities.
Hence may I know how you get the figures the company's current net gearing of 26.6x in rather exorbitant?
I apologise for the error in the previous report. As of Sep 2023, the correct net gearing for the company should be 26.6% or 0.266x.
I have updated the report to reflect the latest information, including the company's Q4 results, where the net gearing currently stands at 0.03x as of December 2023.
Please find the revised report attached to this email. If you have any further questions or need additional clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out.
This stock currently trades at an attractive FY24F PE of 4.8x, which is below the 5-year forward average of 8x. As of December 2023, Teo Seng maintains a healthy balance sheet with a net gearing of 0.03x. The company's balance sheet is anticipated to remain strong supported by its promising earnings outlook.
Meanwhile, Teo Seng offers an attractive dividend yield of 6%, assuming a 30% dividend payout ratio, with the board intending to distribute dividends ranging from 20%-50% of its PAT.
Technically Speaking Resistance level RM2.50 Support level RM2.00
Today shld above $3.00 with limit up yesterday, I thought. However, market is fair for everyone to earn money.. Correction is a must to go higher.. Here come 2.25.... God is fair... Thanks and hope $4.16 dream come true
sslee The gearing ratio is actually bad. Management already decided on low gearing to absorb massive losses later. That is not something to be proud about.
I believe Teo Seng is "damaged" due to contingency cash reserves not sufficient to absorb massive losses approaching range RM500 million to RM1 Billion later.
Haha the HengYuan is a case study to trap the naughty Mike-tikus, I actually earned some free bintang beer and lobster with PetronM.
So no worries for me, like what Philip teach just monitor the quarterly result if fundamental and earning still good then invest more with the dividend received.
sslee Big Mistake trying to imitate anyone else. You are following in the footsteps of Mike 🐀 eavesdropping to steal info on which counter to buy,
Since you have zero knowledge of poultry. There is no advance notice at all. 1 QR profits, next QR huge losses, there is no time to avoid more than 50% losses.
sslee I looked at corn prices😁 before I posted my comments to you. 🤣
also these people been making super profits due to non-stop complaints to wink wink Gobermen about going bankrupt, PN17. So wink wink Gobermen authorised these super profits
wink wink Gobermen may lose next eRection due to mati pucuk. 🤣
This book is the result of the author's many years of experience and observation throughout his 26 years in the stockbroking industry. It was written for general public to learn to invest based on facts and not on fantasies or hearsay....
