Just look at the bigger picture. Long term wise was generally stable and performing. The drop was actually a good opportunity to buy in.

@Calvin882 exactly had I have more spare cash available, would have bought more when it was at RM4.50, well few small lots is better than nothing average down a bit. Compare to the other stocks in my portfolio, this one is quite stable.

calvin882, yinson is selling dream, correct, but over expansion until the debt is too high, it is very dangerous especially when interest rate going up, the short seller is aiming yinson at this point so you can see the % of short selling keep increasing

@bang_miskin, you will never know. May hesitant to buy more too if I feel have enough position in a counter too. Always prefer to diversity my portfolio. Generally I think selling is the last option now as the market is gradually recovering.

Yeah of course, once your reached your target, no reason to add more. For me Yinson is around 5%. Don't plan to add beyond 10% unless it is flying to the moon :) Agree to keep a diversified portfolio. With the economy slowly recovering, doesn't hurt to invest a little in every industry.

flytothemoon, about RM2B of Yinson's debt is in perpetual securities or susuk. They are fixed rate with step up rates. Rising interest rate does not have much effect on Yinson's debt.

Some of Yinson's debt does not start servicing until they've completed the FPSO, which means Yinson will only start servicing the debt for FPSO Anna Nery and FPSO Atlanta once they completed the project.

- US100 million perpetual securities with coupon rate of 7.85% due on October 2022. 500bps step up rate upon first call date.
- US120 million perpetual securities with coupon rate of 8.1% due on March 2024. 500bps step up rate upon first call date.
- RM950 million perpetual susuk with coupon rate of 6.8% due in 2033. 100bps step up rate upon first call date.

flytothemoon reminds me of PearlWhite in Serba Dinamik, initially PearlWhite was anti-serba, kept on bad mouthing Serba for months, then out of the blue PearlWhite became pro serba, you know i know why lah, that pearlwhite guy thinks by bad mouthing serba he can push the price down and then become pro he can push the price up in i3.

flytothemoon also the same, thinks he got some kind of magical power can influence the stock price and movement.

@flytothemoon, what's wrong with high borrowing if a company able to make enough to serve those borrowings? The banks wouldn't approve the borrowing if they have no confidence on the expansion plan. I rather invest in a growing company with borrowing rather than a net cash company with no plans to grow.

I think the RSS share (borrow share ) has dry up . No more in hand. can't push down more. If prediction is correct . yinson management has power to push up with share buy back .

total 195K sell volume , 176K is from RSS share( borrow share).
Today main seller is the someone (RSS seller) which want to keep yinson down.
Look like there is thug of war between 2 party .
