That's very good! They can sell STREAM to the Singaporean government. And maybe they can sell it to the Thailand government as well.
AWC’s three main core activities are integrated facilities management (IFM); environment (solid waste management) and engineering services (plumbing and rainwater harvesting) and it has made its presence in Singapore, Taiwan, India to Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
STREAM has more than 90% market share in Malaysia (almost 30 projects) and is installed in many government projects in Singapore such as HDB developments, Changi Airport and Changi General Hospital (13 projects).
“Of the total RM1.2bil, RM500mil will be recognised from now to end-June 2018 while the remaining RM700mil will be after June 2018,” chief financial officer T. Randy Chitty told StarBiz 14 November 2016.
From 14 Nov 2016 to June 2018 = 19.5 months Jobs in hand to be finished b4 June 2018 = 500m Estimated revenue for every quarter = 77m Based on latest NP margin (12.2%), projected net profit = 9.4m Profit attributable to shareholders (66%) = 6.2m OR 2.35 cents
Assuming no new project/contract for the next 16.5 months & operations costs managed well, the company can still able to generate good revenue & profits until Jun 2018
Still alot of sellers at 0.965 onwards . Still need more time to digest . At least today must stay at 0.965 while closing . Hopefully while closing down push down . Push down means more to drop some more .
Up down up down meantime stay clear and get a clearer picture what next . No need to be so kanchiong as the strong selling pressure still hasn't subside lar !
their cost is low, if straight away sell down where got buyer help to collect. Sure need rebound and let you have a chance to "grab" and easily trap you again.
Aiyah ! Rebound is rebound but slight rebound of up 2 or 3 cents and then huge volume of seller's waiting to run like no 2morrow . So far when I bought awc , never in a single day up more than 5cents if l am not mistaken as compared to some other counters
I have full confidence in AWC in generating superb results based on the massive contracts it had obtained.
Do not look into the previous history based on today's vision as they are totally different now. Previously AWC was not able to secure new deals and projects. Since middle 2016 only that bigger projects were awarded, thus directly influence and increase their quarterly earnings.
If you look at Q2 2016 results with revenue and net profit of $60.2mil and $ 3.7mil, and the trend had been up going, I strongly belief that Q2 2017 results will easily beat the previous year's numbers based on reasons mentioned above. Unless the company made some impairment losses which are out of our control, I think the results will be good.
I will wait for the results to decide go or not to go. Technically, it should be able to deliver results if not better, then on par with last 2 quarters
QR should be out within this week and it should be good. Expecting the cumulative first half will be better than previous year on yoy basis as the first quarter has shown that. For mid to long term investors, it need not to worry too much. Another sen worth of my personal opinion and risks are all yours to take. Hopefully an interim dividend can be declared as a bonus to investors when announcing the QR........ kakaka
