Ask Andy Hall these few simple questions:

Andy, you go and interview the migrant workers personally: (pick a Bangla)


1. Comparatively, which is better, the house that you stayed back home or the hostel provided by your employer here ?

2. Back home, what type of toilet you and your family use and here what type of toilet is provided by your employer's hostel ?

3. Back home, How do you travel to work ? and here, is there any transportation provided by your employer ? if yes, is it air-conditioned bus ?

4. Back home have you ever traveled by train ? if yes, did you sit inside the coach or on the roof of the coach ?
(In Malaysia, sitting on the roof of the train when it is moving is illegal and you will be sent to Tanjong Rambutan for check-up if you are found doing so !)

5. Do you think sitting on the floor and using bare hands for taking meal is perfectly normal in your culture ?
(Andy's finding is no dinning tables and chairs, utensil like folks & spoons provided for workers to dine - migrant workers need to sit on the floor and using bare hands for taking meals)


See what are their answers.... I dont have the answers, but most likely know what are the answers going to be !!! hahaha

But that is the difference. All you need to do is some proactive engagement - like VS & SKP.

Malaysian companies very backward. No knowledge on Public Relations & Media Game = Zero.

Just know how to abuse workers and confiscate passports, not pay overtime. Dyson had to terminate. Not good.

Malaysian companies are famous for "reaching out" to high level VVIP politicians. So why not Andy Hall & Co?

Too late for ATA.

Lets hope others learn to engage.

Andy Hall will not stop this game until ATA engage him as advisor. Thats the only thing he is focusing now. He is not helping the migrant workers but fighting to earn easy money.

Right after SKP and VS appointed him, no news at all about them. I wonder if Ananthalashmi is working or Andy Hall or Reuters ?
