Till now investors n house buyers still back off fm mkland due to poor workmanship n late delivery issue last time...hopefully one day they will change their perception on mkland...

In stock market , for a counter to go up ,company making profit is only one of the factor. i agree with golden n i believe nemesis is so mad when the price is dropping . nemesis.... last time you promoted mkland... now why you hate mkland? workmanship and late delivery problems happen to most developers..... cut cost, insufficient foreign labourers cause all these problems.
I m a full supporter of Mkland...but tat doesn't I won't review the ugly side of Mkland...As investor we should tell the good n bad things about the company we bought right? It is fair for everybody b4 they make investment decision...

Pls do not mislead investors wit all tis rubbish macro events...As I ve said many times for a stock to go up, its net profit must increase on quarterly basis n its dividend increment is the major catalyst....Even in a bear market, if a company is doing very well financially it will go up while others are plunging...Earnings n dividend increment are the major catalyst...Mkland will only start to recover by late 2018 in tandem with property recovery 2018-2019....So u guys can just sit back tight to face the uncertainty of the property mkt...US mkts n oil market has nothing to do with Mkland n Bursa...Don waste time following tis world events...
Hi nemesis. Agree. It's as simple as $$. If the company is in the red or flatlining - the share price won't move. Once the property market recovers, then you will see growth. Unless there is a big brother who decides, against all odds, to buy up a large percentage of the shares
Just bcos u ve bought at high price n then say all kind of good things about Mkland when in fact its earnings are deterioting in hope tat another greater fool will buy at high price fm you, doesn't work nowaday...mostly all investors are wise today...For Mkland to rise back u must be patient n b long term investor...when property mkt started to boom again in 2020, Mkland will surely rebound strongly....At the moment jus bite ur losses...Nick n Golden pls just sit back n wait till 2019...But be careful just when property mkt started to recover the stock market might crash... Think the principal owner is counting days to hand over to the sons/doter... any idea how old is he? for him to be remembered, be kind to give appropriate rewards to the minorities, the family wealth is so much that it wont cause them to bleed or starving...
I believe he is kind and generous enuf to reward shareholders one day as way of giving back to the public...230 acres of Damansara Perdana land 5 years fm now will surely inflate mkland's value significantly...it is the value of land tat really matters in the long run...
What is the expectation for the Q3 2016? MK Land is sustaining quite well for the last 4 quarters avoiding going into red. Hopefully they can book better profits with the new launch.
Nick... Very simple... Mustapha is holding about 42%stake in Mkland...So when he declare dividend he will also benefit the most, really a strategic way of putting money back into his pocket...

If all your dough used up can free some.As last year Div was good .This year ...God knows. MKland is in net cash position, have no problem to declared dividend at all. Although the amount of dividend may slash from previous 3-4sen due to lowering in EPS, but, expect coming day, mkland still afford to payout 1.5-2sen final dividend.
Investor here can expect at least 3 coming catayst:
1. Upcoming budget in favor for property (EPF loose quota for first time home buyer), MKland is one of developer actively involve and corporate with giv policy on budget home ownership
2. Upcoming dividend payout 1.5-2sen, give rise to attractive return based on current depress price. Time for bottom fishing
3. Strong balance sheet + back by valuable landbank + net cash position = current price offer great bargain with further downside limited, turning odds risk reward in our favor.
