cap's bs is healthy but their share price does not really reflect the true picture. too much of doubts on china mari punya company... i have suffered loss before as their record is just fantastic but maybe is used to deceive us, better stay out.
hng33 Volume shrinking, likely hit bottom already......with Yuan getting stronger, have stock with business base in China can ride on it. In the meantime, let hold on it, waiting for value to emerge in next few month
Nov: announce interim dividend Dec: announce free warrant 1 for 2 Jan: ex-date for warrant entitlement Feb: announce final dividend. 21/11/2013 09:55
Yes, hng33, I too think that CAP had hit rock bottom, now to see it move upwards. Looking forward to the dividend & the coming free warrants too.
On behalf of CAP, Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd (“Mercury Securities”) wishes to announce that Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has, vide its letter dated 25 November 2013, approved the following:
a) admission to the Official List and the listing and quotation of 300,000,000 Warrants to be issued pursuant to the Proposed Bonus Issue of Warrants; and
b) the listing and quotation of 300,000,000 new ordinary shares of US$0.10 each to be issued pursuant to the exercise of the Warrants.
all the way.............................................................................................................................................
all those chinese stock that show good profit but no dividend need to be avoided at all cost. Look at Xinguan all these year reporting good profit but i dont recalled any dividend and the price from 1.80 to below 1.00.
But CAP, i am sure it real than other chinese stocks.
i am waiting for the bonus warrant and the 1 sen dividend
CAP very likely announce the date of entitlement for bonus warrant immediately after the EGM, with ex-date at the end of Dec and listing on next year Jan which traditional buoyant well for Chinese base stock ahead of CNY.
Share holder of CAP just do nothing, hold on to entitle dividend 1 sen income first, then entitle for free warrant 1 for 2. With exercise price at 35sen, warrant is in money, probably could trade above 15sen by the time listing in Jan. After listing, wait for CAP stronger Q4 result on Feb, together with final dividend of 2 sen (based on 20% dividend payout policy)
They made mostly modest debuts on Bursa Malaysia. Except for China Automobile Parts, which opened 18 percent higher than its IPO price, the others recorded opening price premiums of no more than 10 percent. XiDeLang and K-Star Sports even started below their retail offer prices.
The companies have also lost considerable value since listing. At closing on Nov 26, their share prices were well below their IPO prices. Xingquan International and China Automobile Parts, for example, were trading at less than half of their IPO prices.
The dismal performance of the entire category has been largely blamed on negative perception and poor investor sentiment, precipitated by accounting scandals involving some Chinese companies listed in Singapore, Canada and the United States.
Some Chinese companies listed on the Singapore stock exchange, for instance, have been implicated in a series of financial irregularities and corporate governance failures. Meanwhile, in the US, investors have lost billions of dollars after the delisting of more than 100 Chinese companies from North American exchanges because of inconsistencies in their books.
HB Global's slide to Practice Note 17 status, which indicates that a company is in financial distress, after its auditors made a disclaimer of opinion in the company's audited accounts, has not done its fellow compatriots any favors either.
The exercise price of 35sen refer to warrant holder need to pay 35sen in order to exchange to ordinary share. Warrant itself is issue free to exiting shareholder 1 for 2
