".............They have to do it (carefully) not to be hit with UMA,(especially) before they can take some intermediate profits.. "
Post AnnM on Wed 24Mar, they are like getting a passport to push (even limit up) and have no fear of UMA...............it all depend on CLIQ's owners/sharks whether they have small balls or big balls.
If small balls--then wed-thu-fri-mon gap up 0.20-0.25-0.30-0.35'
IF BIG BALLS-then limit-up--limit-up---limit-up (mother and son)...
If it is me running their show................AprilFoolAngPow 0.55!!!
CLIQ Energy in RM433m Kazakhstan oil asset purchase Tuesday, 24 March 2015 BY: WONG WEI-SHEN
KUALA LUMPUR: CLIQ Energy Bhd will be buying a 51% stake in a special purpose vehicle (SPV) which owns and operates two oilfield blocks in Kazakhstan for US$117.3mil (RM433.4mil). CLIQ, which is a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), is buying the stake from Phystech Firm LLP and plans to increase production at the oilfields by more than five times by 2020.
"We are looking to ramp up production from 1,400 barrels per day to 7,500 barrels per day in five year's time," said managing director and chief executive officer Ziyad Elias at a press conference on Tuesday. The company will enter into two agreements, one of which is a business transfer agreement (BTA) with Phystech to transfer the assets to the SPV.
Once the BTA is complete, the SPV will seek a listing on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, then only will CLIQ acquire the 51% stake in the SPV. It will also enter a subsurface use contract dated Sept 14, 2006 for the production of hydrocarbons at the two oilfield blocks.
CLIQ will satisfy the acqusition via US$90mil in cash and a deferred cash payment of US$27.3mil three years after the sales and purchase agreement (SPA) is completed. The company signed the conditional sale and purchase agreement with Phystech today.
If it receives the approval from the Securities Commission and shareholders, the acquisition will see CLIQ graduating from a SPAC to a junior independent exploration and production company.
INFORMATION ON THE SPV AND THE KARAZHANBAS NORTHERN FIELD The SPV, a joint stock company to be incorporated by the Vendor in the Republic of Kazakhstan, will undertake a second category listing on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (“KASE”) (“KASE Listing”). The KASE Listing is a second category listing where there is no minimum requirement for public spread or minimum number or shareholders. The Proposed Acquisition shall be transacted in accordance to KASE Trading Rules.
Wow..Does this mean they will do IPO for the SPV in KASE?
Wow everybody looks very excited about the news. The question who is Phystech LLP ? How is the revenue will generated in downtrend of oil price? Don't think the price will up much tomorrow. 2-3% is ok..before the selldown happen. Remind to be cautios.
3 reasons to hold CLIQ after analysing the proposal: 1) planned IPO of the SPV, which Cliq owns 51% 2) * to be shared later * 3) * to be shared later *
those who want to sell on news, please sell. Dipersilakan. Dont complain. You want to sell, sell! You want to hold, hold! You want to buy, buy! It's YOUR money!
Reason 2: 2) can u get a 10% per annum FD? Look, if this QA fails, next April they will have to pay YOU back 72sen (incl bank interest). That works out to be about 10% from current price 66sen. If management wants this QA to succeed, they need to push Cliq above 72sen, otherwise shareholders will reject the deal to get back 72sen.
i like this deal if people sell i buy and i hold. very good deal la they buy asset cheap cheap now later oil price go up up and untung untung untung la.
cliq good buy asset from small operating player with track record. cannot buy meh from big oil companies they sell high high one. not enough money to buy.
Wolverin3, nothing wrong with the shares. Short term traders/speculators selling. Ask yourself, are you short term or long term on Cliq? Can you hold Cliq for just 1 more year? If you cannot hold for 1 year........SELL!
Although Cliq and Hibiscus are SPACs....but both have differences. Hibiscus assets are all prospect of oil ie have not drill yet but base on study of the fields contains oil. Hibiscus will need to keep on drilling until finding oil. Most of Hibiscus oil field are in the sea/deep sea.
Cliq new assets that there are going to purchase already in production ie with 90 wells and 1400 barrel of oil per day. Oil fields contains abt 39.5million barrels.
So two different things altogether. At your own risk.
You have to believe there are really oil in the wells there..just like u have to believe there are cash in the bank accounts of those China Co listed here...
