Calvin...how about bjcorp, mui, mulpha etc etc?? Seems that u always forget of your failure but you keep shouting on those success story but without any proof
The way you answer me on mphbcap that 1800 acre land proven you are NOT knowledgable and you only good in corner here and there to mislead other ppl and most important is you will never admit your mistake...this is the worst attitude!!
I have predicted the drop in share price for this counter, you guys can refer to my comment back in October 2014. This counter CMI as it is played based on rumour with poor fundamentals. Brace for lower lows, get out while you still can. Peace out.
How many companies have net cash of 426 million with a market cap of 1.15 billion approx and lands potentially worth the whole market cap of the counter if they can monitise the assets presently looks like management happy to sit on the assets and wait and see with lots of net cash i dont blame them for a better opurtunity futher along only issue for investers it will take awhile to realise any significant gain in this counter for present therefore look elsewhere for the moment i think.

MPHBCAP SHARES ARE WORTH MORE THAN RM7.00 A SHARE.
Share price flat because Mr Market has mispriced it.
As VALUE INVESTORS Just Buy When It's On SAle.
Paying Rm1.42 for A Share Worth Rm7.00 is like paying 20 cents for a Dollar worth of Shares.
And no need to time the market.
Walter Schloss & Ben Graham care not whether it is January or June or December, Monday, Wednesday or Friday; beginning of the month or end of the month. Just buy when Stock Price Has Fallen to Bargain Basement Level
Pengerang Rapid 1800 Acres prime lands could be sold to Dow Chemical, Phillips 66 or Exxon Mobil. Also Japanese are interested in Rapid chemical products.

Americans consume petroleum products at a rate of three-and-a-half gallons of oil and more than 250 cubic feet of natural gas per day each! But, as shown here petroleum is not just used for fuel.

HomeSabahNationalBusinessSportFeatures Oil downstream activities remain robust in Iskandar Published on: Tuesday, January 26, 2016 Email to a friend Printer Friendly SINGAPORE: Downstream oil and gas activities will continue to remain robust in the Iskandar region against a backdrop of declining global crude oil prices.
"Downstream activities are the input to many sectors which are being promoted in the region," said Iskandar Region Development Authority (Irda) Chief Executive Datuk Ismail Ibrahim.
He said oil and gas were under the manufacturing sector which accounted for 30 per cent of committed investments in Iskandar.
Between 2006 and November 2015, this southern economic region had attracted investments of RM189 billion, he said on the sidelines of the Sustainable Eco-City Development Forum cum Forest City Global press conference recently.
Ismail said Iskandar would not be affected although Petronas were to reduce its operating and capital expenditure.
It was reported that Petronas aimed to cut a whopping RM50 billion in operating and capital expenditure over the next four years in the face of sliding global oil prices.
Ismail also said the spin-off effects from Petronas' Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Project (Rapid) project in Pengerang would benefit the region as the oil and gas was stored in this region before it was sold.
Rapid's activities is focused towards oil refining and not oil processing as such the impact from plunging oil and gas prices would be minimal.
Meanwhile, Datuk Phang Ah Tong, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida), Manufacturing & Services Development I, said companies involved in the oil & gas downstream segment would "smile throughout this period".
"The cost of raw materials are way much cheaper particularly to those involved in the plastics industry," he said.
As the local plastics manufacturing industry relies heavily on exports, "this is the time for them to make more profits as their cost is in ringgit while they sell in US dollars," Phang said.
There are about 1,200 plastics manufacturing companies, nationwide, employing a workforce of about 80,000 people.
In 2014, the Malaysian plastics industry registered a turnover of RM19.37 billion with plastics finished products accounting for 62 per cent or RM11.94 billion of total exported. – Bernama

Refreshing Our Figures for MphbCapital (USApg comments on Nov 12th, 2015)
1) CASH RM425 MILLIONS (Now Even More) 2) 5.9 acres Imbi Lands (5.9 acres x 43560 sq ft at Rm2,800 psf) = Rm719 Millions 3) 1700 acres Pengerang lands (1,700 acres x 43,560 sf ft x Rm30 psf) = Rm2,2 Billions 4) 83 acres Penang (83 acres x 43,560 sq ft x Rm150 psf) = Rm542 Millions 5) 15 Acres Flamingo KL (15 acres x 43,560 sq ft x Rm500 psf) = Rm326 Millions 6) Famingo Hotel Penang = Rm100 Millions (too cheap lah) 7) 51% Stake in MP Insurance = Rm300 Millions 8) Rawang 265 acres & Gombak Lands 324 acres = Rm300 Millions 9) MP Credit = Rm120 Millions
Total Net Net is Rm5.032 BILLIONS
Total Shares is 715 Millions
So NET NET Is Rm7.03 Per Share!
If Pengerang Lands Valued at Rm50 psf then add another Rm1.481 Billions
Then NTA Increased to Rm9.10 per share!
At Rm1.45 MphbCap is Selling at a Whopping 85% Discount to NTA.
Both Walter Schloss & Ben Graham would be dancing hand in hand if they come across Mphb Capital in their time!
Hi Calvintaneng, why the price targets by Maybank are so low and also no other analysts seem to be interested to give PT? Are you missing anything, like debts, no cashflow or dividends? Your assessment and recommendation seem too good to be true... I am tempted. What gives?
Mphbcap is a totally mispriced stock. Only Insiders are privy to the Total Hidden Value. That's why they are brave enough to buy over Rm2.00 to a high of Rm2.38 & still accumulating non stop.
In the absence of corporate movement TN Logis Directors bought & bought up TN Logis Shares at Rm1.50. Not knowing what was yet future I followed Directors to buy.
Later TN Logis Gave One for One Bonus Plus Share Split. Only then TN Logis powered up to Rm7.00 - Up 500% & only then Market Took Notice.
Same goes for KimHin at Rm1.30 when Insiders were buying and buying. KimHin later crossed Rm2.00
like keck seng , good fundamentals , cash in reserves in Billions , asset not value since its inception , some put it around 17/20/25/50 per share . Look at now , it is only trading 5+?. Talking about hidden values , I think Kseng is more promising than this one.
Friend leslieroycarter, what you just add is true. Keck Seng I had been holding for so many years but the revaluation of it's prime land never came....it all depends on the directors. If they don't want to revalue the land, then there's nothing we can do. As for MPHBCap is a bit different, that is if there is someone wants to take it private with a good price, then why not. Anyway, I had some of this MPHB shares with me & today I did buy a bit more. Let's hold & hope for the best.
from the report i can see this company hold a lot of valuable assets, even it is a cash rich company. But, the company not declare the dividend for the shareholders! really diu~! the cash can see but can not touch!
