TF talking up AAX when he knew oil price issue was the biggest factor in AAX losing money and yet he said big things are happening in AAX and now AirAsia too. See for yourself AAX financial result, bleeding money and he cannot control it. Still tell lies about AAX. Dont be fooled by TF ever. He always talk cock about AAX when he has not own much shares in AAX but get huge salary and perks from AAX.

Why so personal to attack someone like Tony? Looking at the results you can see that deferred taxation was a big item and as explained above it might be due to reclassification of the fixed assets. The result for this year is mainly dragged down by write offs relating to other receivables. My only view is that why they did not hedge when the fuel price was low?

They have hedge more than 50% of cheap oil for 2019.

1Q19: $67 (53%)
2Q19: $64 (52%)
3Q19: $62 (52%)
4Q19: $61 (51%)

FYI,
average fuel cost:
4Q18: $89 (operating profit: 23.8M)
4Q17: $69 (operating profit: 110.7M)

Financial year 2018 has ended.

1. The operating cost (ex fuel) has reduced substantially in 2018;
2. Oil price has been nicely hedged;
3. More oil efficient planes are coming;
4. The performance of Thai AAX is encouraging with 5+ new planes;
5. Malaysia Ringgit is appreciating;
6. Debt is lower;
7. Relationship with China is getting better;
8. US crude oil export hit historical high;
9. EV is the trend;
10. Globalization, population, and the rise of middle class is the definite thing;
11. I don't think MAS is performing well.
12. Airasia has transferred some profitable routes to AAX, and I think this may happen again in the future;
13. The synergy with Airasia (digitalization, Bigpay etc) is the competitive advantage;
14. Last time the 2 bosses always talk cock without action, now they have acquired some shares at the first time, range 0.21 - 0.23, up to 57,290,700 shares.
15. IAAX that always makes loss has almost been cut.
16...

Of course there are some other advantages and risks, lazy to write.

What worry me the most is not the levy tax or competitors, it's the natural disasters.

I really like turnaround story, this way you can earn most (with confident), and the dividend would be attractive. Airasia was an example, don't you think that time was more risky as Tony had 0 experience in aviation industry? Music background? wtf? Now you can see regret from people's face when it's more expensive to enter.

So you know why Tony said financial year 2019 is the best year of AAX.

My first bought was 0.375, and averaged down at 0.235, now my average price is 0.295.

You may leave now but I will collect low. =)

I start issued klci bull when index floating around 166x-167x last dec 2018.
On 2019 Jan , I always mentioned , "klci tipu tipu and shy ".

2018 Oct -2018 Dec, aax candlestick told me this is a strong rebound from bottom, aax will start fly from here.

It is very unlikely to get aax at price 0.20 anymore. I want to buy aax at 0.20 too.

if you can buy aax from 0.23 to 0.26 consider bonus. I believe aax will jam queue at this price.
